Piper, Annabeth, and Hazel went into the store to get some things they needed for the quest, while the boys stayed on the Argo ll. While they were getting supplies, Piper felt herself slipping, but she pushed it back. She knew she needed to stay big while on the quest.
Piper wandered to the toy aisle and couldn't stop herself from slipping when she saw the stuffed animals. She ran to a kitty stuffy.
"What are you doing?" Annabeth asks, entering the aisle. "Put that down and help us, we don't have time to look around."
"I-i sowwy," Piper says, setting down the kitty. Hazel picks the stuffed kitty back up off the shelf.
"Are you little, Pipes?" she asks softly. Piper nods.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," Annabeth says guiltily. "I didn't realize you'd slipped."
"It otay, I shouldn't be smol right now anyway," Piper says.
"It's okay Pipes, I know you can't control it," Annabeth says, leading the other two girls out of the aisle. "Oh, and by the way, you can get the stuffy."
"Really?" Piper asks, her eyes lighting up.
"Really," Annabeth says, taking the stuffy from Hazel and handing it to the little girl.
Once they get back to the Argo ll, Piper runs to Jason. "Dada dada look," She says, holding up the stuffed kitty.
"Aww that's so cute," he says, hugging his baby, "Just like you."
