Percy sat down on the couch and whined. He had slipped while Annabeth was at Piper and Jason's apartment for a girls' night. Jason had come over to hang out with Percy because Piper didn't want him around during their night.
"Oh, are you slipping?" Jason asked.
"Mhm," Percy said, doing grabby hands toward Jason. Jason picked up Percy and sat down with him in his lap.
"What do you wanna do, bubs?" Jason asked Percy, who had buried his face in his chest and was holding onto his shirt.
"I wan Mama," Percy pouted.
"I know you do bubba," Jason said, "but for now you have me and we're gonna have fun until Annabeth comes home."
"Otay," Percy said hesitantly. "Color?"
Jason set Percy down on the floor before laying out coloring books and crayons for him.
"Fishy," Percy said, grabbing an under-the-sea coloring book. Jason picked out a different one and colored with Percy. After a while, Percy held up his finished page.
"Look!" He said excitedly.
"That's so good bub," Jason said enthusiastically, "Lets rip it out and we can show Annabeth when she gets home."
"Otay!" Percy responds.
~Later that night~
Annabeth walked into the apartment to find Jason asleep on the couch, so she just left him there. She walked into the bedroom where Percy was asleep with his paci and shark stuffy. She climbed in bed next to him and pulled him into her arms.
"M-mama?" Percy mumbled,
half-asleep.
"I'm here baby boy. Go back to sleep," Annabeth said softly.
