Chapter 8

-Josies pov-
I watched as the person i was in love with walked out the front door, all because of me. Lizzie had told me not to confront Hope but i didn't listen. I can't just give up on hope. I wont just walk away when she needs me most.
I felt tears streaming down my face as I turned around and walked back into my dorm room.
" What's wrong?!" Lizzie asked me hugging me.
" H-Hope." I said as i was crying and shaking.
Lizzie was torn because she understood both sides of the situation.
" I'm sorry Josie." She said as she was hugging her trying to calm Josie down.
~ 1 hour later~
NO ONES POV
Josie was finally asleep. Lizzie snuck out the room/ dorm knowing that she needed to talk some sense into hope because she can't stand to see her sister like this anymore.
-lizzies pov-
Lizzie didn't even bother knocking and she Barged into Hopes room seeing her pack everything.
" What do you think your doing." Lizzie said standing in the doorway.
" I'm packing ... and moving back to New Orleans." Hope said while her voice was breaking.
" Um, I think the hell you aren't!" Lizzie said aggressively.
" Yes the hell I am if it means me leaving the school just so everyone can be safe that I'll do it." Hope said on the verge of tears looking away from Lizzie.
" And by everyone you mean Josie right." Lizzie said annoyed. There is no way she can let hope do this.
" I am a vampire now! Lizzie don't you see I can't hurt you guys! I won't allow it and like I said if it means leaving school than I will do it to protect you and Josie from myself." Hope said letting tears fall now.
" You know if you leave... your gonna break Josies heart, do you really want that?! Because everyone can see that your in love with her yet your willing to break her heart and walk out on her. wouldn't do anything to hurt her!" Lizzie said.
" Once I learn control Lizzie I'll come back. Once I'm 100% sure I will not hurt her." Hope said through her tears and the lump in her throat.
" And how long will that take?! 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, OR MAYBE EVEN 5 YEARS?! BECAUSE ONE OF US WILL BE GONE HOPE AND YOU KNOW THAT WILL THE WHOLE MERGE THING." Lizzie exclaimed.
" DONT YOU THINK I KNOW THAT LIZZIE I RATHER HER MOVE ON FROM ME WHETHER  IT BE IN A YEAR OR TWO I WANT HER TO BE HAPPY AND FORGET ABOUT ME. IF IT MEANS SHES GONE BY THE TIME I GET BACK I WANT TO KNOW THAT SHE MOVED ON AND SHE WAS HAPPY. GOD KNOW WHAT ILL DO IF I HURT HER! HELL WHAT IF I TURN MY HUMANITY OFF?! Hope yelled and took the boxes that she gathered and walked out the door.
" IF YOU LEAVE YOU MAY NEVER SEE HER AGAIN!" Lizzie said with tears in her eyes.
Hope paused for a second and took a deep breathe.
" Tell her im sorry." Hope said before walking out the door.
Lizzie knew that there was nothing she could do to stop Hope. All she could do was be there for her sister.
