First Kiss (LawRusso)

A/N This is a request for @Brockcolb.  I hope you like it but if you don't please let me know and I will write a new one so just let me know. I'm so sorry this took so long. I feel terrible that it took so long. This story takes place sometime after season 3. WARNING-cursing(?)

***Daniel's POV***

Teaching with Johnny has been...interesting. It's going okay for the most part but kinda weird. He's definitely still an ass most of the time and very hard to deal with but it's kinda nice.

"Larusso!" Johnny's voice cut through my thoughts.

"Hello Johnny," I responded.

"You're here early," he comments. He looks me up and down, "geez you look terrible."

"Gee thanks," I probably did look terrible. I've been sleeping here a t the dojo for a couple weeks. Ever since Amanda and I decided to split up. She didn't kick me out by any means but I thought it would be better for the both of us to have some space from each other. We were still partners at the dealership and friends but I couldn't lie to her anymore. I like Johnny. I have since we became co-sensis.

"Hello, earth to Larusso,"

"Sorry I zoned out,"

"Whatever, what's the plan for today?" he asked.

"Meditation and balance," I told him.

"Ugh again," he groaned, "that's all you ever wanna teach,"

I laughed a little, "well it's really important."

"Yeah, to you," he mumbled as we walked out the door.

"I heard that," I laughed.

"I know," he responded.

As the kids started to get there I couldn't help but stare at Johnny a little. I couldn't tell him he'd just laugh in my face. I noticed him greet all the kids, even Demetri, which is saying something; the problem is that him being nice to the kids only makes him more attractive.

"Alright, today's lesson will be on balance," I announced. Half the class groaned.

"Again?" Hawk whined. Some kids laughed at this.

Before I could respond, Johnny did for me, "Yes again, this stuff is important and you're gonna thank us for this one day."

"Let's begin," I said.

***Johnny's POV***

Larusso's acting weird lately. He's always here early and he looks like shit. I could never admit it, but I've liked him ever since he came into Cobra Kai and yelled at me about defacing his dojo.

"Now who's zoned out Johnny?"

"Shut up Larusso," I snapped back, "now where were we?"

***Time skip to after class***

"Alright come on Miguel, I'll drive you home,"

"Awesome thanks sensi!" he exclaimed as he took off towards my car.

"That's nice of you, ya know," Daniel comments.

"The kid practically lives next door," I scoff.

"Still, the old you never would have taken a kid under your wing,"

"He's a good kid, besides, I should have helped Robby sooner."

"I shouldn't have blown up at him that morning," he explains, "I should have been more understanding."

"We both should have done more." I agreed, "Hey why are you always here and tired? Don't get all whiny about it."

"Way to lay on the charm Johnny."

"That's what I'm best at," I replied smugly.

"If you have to know, and I know you do because you won't let it go, Amanda and I are going through a divorce," he said looking down.

"Oh," is all I could say.

"Yeah, but we're still friends. I thought it would be better if we didn't live together."

"Why? I thought you guys were like true love or whatever."

"Why do you care all of a sudden?" he replied, "but if you must know we've been off for a while and we both started to fall for other people."

"Shit man, that sucks,"

"Yeah, but like I said we both fell for other people,"

"Oh yeah, who's the chick?" I asked.

"What?" he laughed.

"Ya know the chick that you fell for," I said. He looked at me fidgeting with his hands.

"Uh-it's uh-not a-um-it's a man," He stuttered out quietly, he looked like he was going to be sick.

"Oh," I couldn't think of how to respond. "That's cool. Who's the guy?"

"You don't care that it's a guy?" he asked.

"Nah, the kids have helped me a lot," I told him, "I think I like a guy too."

"Really?" he questioned. He was closer now. I leaned in too and our eyes started to close.

"Sensi? Are you coming?" I hear Miguel's voice. I let out a sigh.

"You should probably get going. You don't want to keep him waiting," Daniel said disappointedly.

"Uh yeah-uh yeah," I managed to stutter out. Damn it. I was so close to finally kissing him. Screw it.

"John-," I pressed my lips to his. When we pulled back he looked shocked.

"Shit man I shouldn't have done that," I gotta get out of here.

"Shut up and kiss me again." He pulled me back in. "I've wanted to do that since High School."

"Me too," I breathed. We were inches apart.

"Wow, none of this would have happened if we had just kissed in High School," He laughed as he leaned into me and put his head on my shoulder.

"Yeah, you're probably right." We sat there for a moment. "Shit! I forgot about Miguel.

"Of course, you would," He laughed. "Go, we can finish this talk another time."

"Thanks," I kissed him one more time. We paused for a minute before I ran around to the front where Miguel was.

When I got there Miguel was leaning against my car looking at something on his phone.

"Alright kid you ready to go?" I asked

"Yeah," he said while getting in. "So?"

"So what?"

"Dude you finally kissed Sensi Larusso!" Miguel exclaimed.

"What do you mean 'finally'? And how did you know?"

"You guys have been making heart eyes at each other for a while now," he says. "Besides when you didn't come around I went looking for you and saw you."

"You don't think it's weird?" I asked.

"Not at all, I should thank you guys actually."

"What? Why?"

"Hawk owes me 20 bucks and Demetri owes me 10."
