RORY'S POV
Summer came around the corner in no time and we hit it off with a wedding.
that's right. Bella was marrying Mr. Dracula and it had quickly become a very controversial topic. For the most part, because Bella wanted to become a vampire and the wolves couldn't let that slide on their territory. Regardless of my opinion, I had to go for charlie, and I was Happy for Edward since he did seem rather excited about the union.
The ceremony was lovely but as I sat there witnessing it all I couldn't help but think of the wedding I might be forced into. One where I'd have to wear some ugly middle-century dress and Walk down the aisle surrounded by people whom I've never met before in my life.
Paul had accompanied me as my date along with Jennifer as Maxi's plus one since the little girl had been invited and apparently both had noticed my nerves as they each took one of my hands and securely wrapped their own around it.
"You'll get a wedding like this one. I promise." Jennifer's whisper was reassuring but Pauls add on nearly made me choke.
"Hopefully with me."
"Shut the fuck up." I quietly scolded him, grinning. He only grinned back and planted a chaste kiss on my forehead.
The rest of the wedding was beautiful but I had to say my favourite part was Charlie's speech which was ENTIRELY dedicated to letting Edward know of all the ways he could hurt the boy. And now we were on the dance floor. Me and Emmett had shared a dance as well as me and Rosalie. I may have been fully committed to Paul But I was still Bisexual at heart. I gave my wishes to Edward and then came Bella.
"Hey." I awkwardly started.
"...Hey." She returned just as awkward.
"You really do look beautiful." My compliment seemed to take her a little off guard but she excepted before thanking me for attending.
"Listen." I began after a few moments of weird silence. "I know I've been really hard on you and probably scared you half to death a few times but I want you to know that I'm still happy for you. This wedding, your husband, your... future to come. It's nice to see you actually happy. So, I know things between us will most likely never be what they once were, but we're still cousins and If you ever need something, I will be there."
Bella let my words sink in for a moment before realizing what I had said and without a second thought pulled me into a hug. "The Cullens all really like you and from what you've told us, you and Bree have gotten pretty close so I don't think your world will be rid of vampires anytime soon. So do me a favour and if we do leave, come visit us sometime." Her words were the first kind ones I'd heard from her in a while and it was a weight lifted off my shoulders to know we were still family, despite our differences.
Eventually, Bella was pulled away by Edward, something about a last-minute gift, leaving me to my own devices. I mingled a little here and there with some humans and vampires alike until I felt Jennifer grab my hand and pull me away with Maxi in her arms.
Once I realized we were moving swiftly to the driveway I pulled my hand away and stopped Jennifer.
"Woah Woah Woah. Jen, what's the matter." I looked at her panicked state.
"Aurora we need to get out of here, NOW." Her shaky breath was enough to let me knew that something had scared her. And I could only hope it wasn't what I thought.
"Jacob he- he was talking to Bella and got really mad and- and. Aurora he changed into this... this beast. Like a wolf but way bigger. And Paul ran after him with the other boys. Aurora, they're dangerous like... supernatural dangerous."
Jennifer's rant made me go silent as I facepalmed. I grabbed Jennifer's hand and moved her out to my truck before grabbing my phone and reaching the first contact I could find that could help.
"Rory, what's up?"
"Jennifer saw Jacob." Sam went silent on the other line before I continued. "Once Jacob has calmed down, get him to the gym." The line cut and without hesitation, I got into the driver's seat and started driving.
"Who was that?" Jennifer cautioned with Maxi still securely pressed against her chest.
"Sam," I answered simply.
"What!? Aurora why would you do that, he's one of them. Aurora you didn't see them this, this is dangerous. No, then just let me out if you don't believe me." She bantered on continuously until finally, I couldn't take it anymore.
"Remember the bear attack?" I pulled up my sleeve to which she nodded in response. "It wasn't a bear, It was Paul." Jennifer immediately shut up while connecting the dots, or at least trying to. "Bella had provoked him and Maxi was in the way so I jumped in front of her. but It's not my place to tell so you'll just have to hear them out ok?"
Jennifer looked at me and very reluctantly nodded. "Maxi? do you...know?" She asked her daughter who nodded in response.
"Jared let me ride on his back one time! Mama, it's SO cool. you should try!" Her daughter's smiling face seemed to be reassurance enough as we pulled into Ray's.
Upon entering I saw Jasmine and Bree laughing while playing a game of cards at one of the tables we had set up. Jasmine now knew about everything since Jared had carelessly shifted in front of her, and she had become surprisingly ok with it. So much so that she and Bree were now best friends. Bree had even decided to stay here with us after meeting the Cullens who now frequently visited.
"Hey, Rory." Bree smiled brightly before seeing Jennifer's dishevelled appearance. "What happened?"
"She knows about the boys." I explained broadly to which they both made an 'Oh, I see.' look on their faces. "Anyway the guys will all be here in a minute so Jasmine, You've met Paul, Jared, and Quil but today you'll be meeting the whole pack." I prepared to which she nodded in response and with that, we all sat and awaited their arrival.
within minutes of our arrival, the boys had walked through the door being welcomed by Ray. Jasmine went to get drinks and Bree said her hellos to the group that had thankfully accepted her.
They sat down patiently with Jennifer and answered any questions she had while Maxi comforted her and within minutes she was caught with everything. Including the vampires.
"Jennifer?" I asked her calmly. She looked over at me.
"This... this is a lot to take in." She softly confessed.
"Why don't you go lie down, we can keep our distance until your ready if you want." Jared offered but Jennifer shook her head.
"No, no. It's ok. It's just, I never thought any of this could possibly be real. And Maxi seems to really like you guys, even you Bree. So I think I just need some rest and time to think it over. " With that, she began to leave upstairs but not before Jasmine came out with drinks.
"Here hun, why don't you take one upstairs with you." Jasmine offered her before looking over the crowd. I watched as she greeted each boy until she came to Jacob who had now fallen into a trance of sort. Their eyes never left each other as everyone looked around quizzically until finally, it clicked.
Jacob had just Imprinted on Jasmine.

I feel like I should apologize to anyone who decided to read this story hoping Embry would be important to it.
Seriously, how did I get to #1 in #Embry when he has like... two lines in the entire story.
