Poseidon's Kids

Chapter 6

Percy: "MOM! Who is tha-... That's Harry, isn't it?" Sally passed Harry's unconscious body to Percy.

Sally: "How did yo- AQUA! Is that you sweetheart?!" Sally asked suspiciously.

Aqua: "M-Mom?! How... How did you recognize me..."?

Sally: "Oh sweetheart! I would recognize you from anywhere no matter how long it's been." She pulled Aqua into a hug and planted a kiss on top of her head. Aqua immediately started crying. "Aww, you little muffin... It's okay... I'm here. I always will be from now on." She kissed her again and hugged her tighter.

Aphrodite: "Aw that is so sweet! Though, Aqua, darling remember what I said about the mascara leaking?"

Aqua: "Haha. You sure know how to cheer me up, Aunt Aphrodite."

Aphrodite: "Thank you darling, but I wasn't kidding." Aphrodite smiled as Aqua laughed.

Poseidon: "Ahem... Harry is a demigod so he can take ambrosia but he's not fully a demigod either... He has the wizard blood from Sally's part of the family... You should take him to camp Half-Blood... I'm sure Chiron will know what to do..." Poseidon sent out a telepathic message to his fellow gods and goddesses asking them to leave so he could talk to his family. He waited until everyone was gone leaving him alone with his family. "Listen... I-um ... I know I should have told you sweethea- Aqua. I should have told you both about your older brother and each other. I just..." Poseidon let out a long sigh. "I wanted to keep you safe. I promise that was my main goal. It was just that... well I guess I should start with Harry, shouldn't I." Poseidon looked at Sally for confirmation. Sally nodded, signaling for him to continue on. "Harry was born here, near long-island just like the two of you but there was a different type of magic in him. He had some Demi-god blood of course but he also had wizard blood from his great-great-grandparents. We only had one cas-situation like this before and when that had happened we had sent the girl to the wizarding school in Scotland. There is no other wizarding school that would have accepted him so we gave him to Hogwarts. I wouldn't have been in his life either way and for him to be able to attend Hogwarts, he had to live in Scotland. So Sally and I both decided to give him to a rich couple that would have taken great care of him... but there was a terrible accident. His foster parents had been killed by an evil wizard. Harry was supposed to be killed as well but since he was a demigod a simple spell like that couldn't kill him. Instead, it rebounded onto the evil wizard and broke him down so bad that the evil wizard could barely do anything. In a sense, the wizard was left as a ghost floating around until his followers brought him back. Since Harry's foster parents died he was sent to live with his foster mom's sister and husband. They also had a child his age but they all treated him as a servant. He ended up fragile in a way, but when he started attending Hogwarts, things got better. He did have encounters with this evil wizard every year but in his last year of school he managed to kill the evil wizard whose name I now remember is Voldemort. Somehow Harry ended up learning about Sally being his biological mom and he found her and passed out on her steps. And now we're here..." Poseidon let the news sink in before he continued. "I'm extremely sorry I hurt you guys. I know I should have tried being a better father after Harry, but when you two were born Aqua seemed to be born both roman and Greek and you of all people Percy, should know how powerful that would be. Two different fighting styles, two different ways to use her powers, two different ways for basically everything! I just couldn't take the risk of leaving Aqua there alone on the surface without anyone to train her powers, so she could keep it in check. You both know that your powers respond to your emotional state and as a baby, Aqua cried all the time. If she had lived on the surface, she would have ended up killing thousands of people every month. I had to make sure she was safe. You all were safe. I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?" Poseidon said. 

Aqua: "We should check in on Harry, Percy." Aqua said ignoring Poseidon. 

Percy: "Yeah, let's go... We can ask Apollo where Harry is." Aqua and Percy walked out of the throne room looking for Apollo, ignoring Poseidon.

Sally: "Don't worry, Poseidon, I'm sure they will forgive you soon. You just have to give them time..." Sally said, smiling up at Poseidon.

Poseidon "I will. Thank you, Sally." He said smiling down at her with another sad smile.
