Yeji stared dumbfoundedly at Ryujin, her mind busy processing. She thought about all that she just said and can't help but to get her point, no matter how she wanted to deny it. Yes, Ryujin was a bad kid according to some rumors she heard but she can't just believe them all like all of it were true. First, she believes that Ryujin really loves to fight because she saw that a lot. Second, she also believe that Ryujin can be really rude and mean to some people since she saw that a lot too. Those were some true stuffs but the others are just too much to believe in. Like they said that Ryujin was a gangster and has already killed many people, that is what she does not believe of. Every time Ryujin beats someone, she calls somebody to take them to the clinic after, even tho the way she beats them up can bring the closer to death but still she have limits. In Yeji's eyes, fighting is just a fun thing for Ryujin and she does not take it seriously where she have to kill people. She's so young for those stupid fake-ass rumors to be true. Everybody says that Ryujin is the definition of bad and darkness, well that's somewhat true. But according to how Ryujin acts without many people around her, Yeji could tell that she was still a girl with a kind heart. She was still nice and not as reckless as she is, and that's the reason why Yeji wants to be friends with her. So she made up her mind, she would not hesitate anymore. She'll believe in what she sees, not just on some rumors and stories.

"Yes. I want to be friends with you. So what if they'll hate me? It's just what they believe in, not the real story that is far from their made up explanations. Plus, I don't care about those stupid reputations. If yours is shitty then so be it. If mine would be ruined, then so be it too. All I know is that I want to be friends with you, because I know and I can see that you're not entirely as bad as you show us."

Now it was Ryujin's turn to stare at her dumbfoundedly. The way Yeji sounded so sure about her decision definitely shocked her. Yeji's reasoning was unacceptable and unlogical yet she was still so confident about it. Ryujin admired how Yeji did not cared about her very own reputation that she had built, she admired how Yeji was so carefree and free-spirited. But the big question is, can Ryujin really bare to endanger her life just because of the friendship she's about to make? Ryujin also wanted to be friends with the girl, she definitely wanted to do so. She thought hard, even harder than she does when she takes a test. Yes, Yeji could be in great danger, but who says she can't protect her? She'll sacrifice her life to save everyone she loves and Yeji could be a part of it. And so, Ryujin slowly decided her final decision. She sighed, gave her a big smile before she started walking to her room. Before she completely disappeared through the hallways, she gave Yeji the answer that she deserved to hear.

"Don't say I didn't warned you, Hwang... Goodnight, friend."

"...Goodnight, friend! I'll keep your warning in mind! Sleep tight and sweet dreams!"

And she completely disappeared on Yeji's sight. Nonetheless, Yeji had a big smile on her face as she made her way to her own room after making sure the door was securely locked. She didn't knew why she was so happy she could jump around, she doesn't know why the stupid goofy smile on her face can't be removed. All she knows is that she was feeling too much happiness that she's sure she'll fall asleep with a smile. And she really did.

The next morning, Yeji woke up with a new start. She felt refreshed even before she took a shower, and she herself knew the reason why. After taking her bath and changing into her school uniform, she made her way out of her room and went straight to the kitchen.

"Morning sleepyhead... Eggs and bacons for breakfast, is that fine?"

"Good morning... Yep, that's fine. Thanks..."

Ryujin had just finished cooking their food, and sat down on the other chair in front of Yeji. They both ate in a comfortable silence, and they were fine with it. They finished eating and went to prepare their things.

"Hey Ryujin, why won't you wear the school uniform?"

Yeji asked, as she looked at Ryujin in her own set of clothing. She was wearing a light blue ripped jeans and a gray hoodie with her Nike air shoes, she pulled the simple attire into a extravagant one just by wearing it. Yeji noticed that. But she can't help but to ask her since she never once wear the school uniform, not that the teacher's or faculty members bother to scold her.

"Nah, don't feel like it... Now, let's go? I don't want you to be late. What's your first class?"

"Math. You?"

"A'ight I'll take you there... Come on! Mine is Biology..."

Ryujin went out first, with Yeji trailing behind. They securely locked the dorm and walked side by side, talking and laughing with Ryujin goofing around. They noticed everybody staring at them, yet to hell they care. They wee happy and that was what they wanted, not some stupid attention.

"Yeji unnie?!"
