"What the fudge, Ji? I still can't believe it, I mean, woah..."

It was lunch time and the trio was at the cafeteria, sitting on their usual table. Lia was the one who said that, still unable to process what her friend announced earlier.

"Yeah, me too. Its quite surprising actually, my wish to have a normal dormmate just got jinxed. But I think she's not that bad, she was polite to me yesterday."

"Maybe she's only bad to her enemies, or to the people she dislikes. But come to think of it, your unlucky yet lucky unnie."

Yuna suddenly said, confusing Yeji. Lia nodded her head before swallowing her food to elaborate their thoughts to Yeji.

"Yep! I mean, yes, she's the School's Baddest Girl and she's literally a walking destruction BUT— she's also a very good looking, attractive and talented girl so it's a 50-50 for you..."

"What? Really girls, you crushing on her or somethin'? You really just gave her multiple compliments..."

"I mean, where's the lie? She  wouldn't also be a campus crush if she ain't good looking and talented..."

Yeji can only sigh exasperatedly at her friend's quirky demeanour. After a while, they finally finished and went to their separate afternoon classes. Yeji went inside the dance room, it was a 2 hour session for today and she was happy. She was well known around the school as one of the best dancers, and she is also a representative for it. After a while, students finally piled up and some of them greeted Yeji. The dance teacher went in and greetings were exchange, not until the door opened again. There stood a familiar short haired girl wearing a leather jacket, the highlights underneath her hair was enough for everyone to know who she was.

"...This is the dance class, right?"

"Ah, Shin Ryujin! Glad you finally took up the offer! Come on in, were just about to start."

"Thanks, Mr. Jung..."

She mumbled before going to the only free spot to squat on at the back part— which was beside Yeji. Ryujin squat down, failing to notice Yeji's presence, or that's what Yeji hoped.

"Nice to see you here again, Yeji."

"A-ah, yeah... Cool..."

Yeji awkwardly blurted out, mentally slapping herself for being a social mess. Ryujin only gave her a side glance before listening to the dance teacher, and Yeji did so too.

"...for you to know each other, I'll give an introduction activity! You'll introduce yourself by a dance performance. Let's start!"

And so each students presented a short dance number, enough to express their sleves. It just happened that Yeji was second to the last, and Ryujin was the last one. Both of their performance was highly anticipated, Yeji, because she's known as a dance heartthrob and Ryujin, because nobody saw her dancing yet. Yeji stood up and smiled sheepishly, requesting the song 'New Rules' by Dua Lipa. Then she started dancing gracefully, mouthing some lyrics to add to her facial expressions. She was a dance prodigy, it was no doubt. (Okay, imagine her performance on the show called 'The Fan')

After the performance, she received loud applause and a compliment from the dance teacher making her smile. She walked back to her place as Ryujin walk to the front, however she managed to whisper something for Yeji to hear only. What she said made Yeji confused yet happy at the same time.

"You did great..."

Yeji almost just stopped walking then and there, luckily she snapped out of it. She went back to her spot and watched as Ryujin prepared for  her dance performance. The song 'Look What You Made Me Do' by Taylor Swift started playing, and Ryujin did her dance number. (Now think about Ryujin's Mixnine Dance Audition) She danced flawlessly with so much power, her expressions never failing and her moves so sharp and clean.

After the dance, everybody was quiet as the dance teacher praised her dancing skills. She quietly went back to her spot, as everybody erupted into loud cheers and applause. Even Yeji clapped her hands at what she saw, she was deeply impressed. Nobody ever knew that the one and only Shin Ryujin could dance as powerfully and as skillfully as that, she was only known for her rebellious actions and for sports.

"So, how was it? The dance, I mean..."

Ryujin suddenly asked, not sparing her a single glance.

"Why... Why are you asking me?"

"Well aside from my friend Chaeryeong who is absent for today, you are also a dance genius. So how was it?"

Yeji blushed at the sudden compliment. Then she remembered that Ryujin was friend with Chaeryeong, another dance prodigy and was also close to her.

"It was great, no joke. Didn't knew you had a talent in dancing... What else can you not do?"

Yeji joked around, earning a soft chuckle from the other girl. Yeji found it cute, seeing the girl happy was making her happy too. It was weird for her. She didn't knew why she felt that way but whatever it was, it's making her feel giddy yet nervous at the same time.

"Thanks Yeji... I hope we'll get along well tho, dormmate."
