Earlier I was only reconsidering my choices of leaving here as if I didn't hear or see anything, but now I really wished I had listened to my head and be selfish, especially when I caught the vindictive look in Marco's eyes that disappeared as soon as it appeared.
"You again, missed me already?" I bit and all he did was stare at me then raked his eyes over my body. I almost shivered in disgust but refrained when he finally settled a glare on my face. I guess he recognised me.
"I remember you, you're that Carliste guy's sister, right? I knew there was a reason I despised your face, other than what you pulled last night, although you are easy on the eye." He spoke so smoothly he could fool anyone. No doubt a sweet talker. Explains his job choices too, yet his looks doesn't exactly go with the image he's trying to portray.
"Well you know how to hold a grudge don't you?" I uttered my guard still up as I watched his every move. I was outnumbered. The two on the ground could recover any minute and I didn't trust that Marco came here without back up. My eyes scanned my surroundings in a haste, and all I saw was miles of wrecked cars and dirt.
I'm not sure how that would be helpful, but I better come up with an escape plan, fast.
"I would start running." Scar face grunted to my dislike and Marco smirked as he kept on undressing me with his eyes.
"You're disgusting." I grimaced then moved swiftly towards him. He was indeed a good fighter and I expected no less from Maella's guard dog, and him being in Ashtonville meant she was back to. That thought only brought fear and fury through my veins urging me to knock this guy down.
I took the easy way out and kneed him in the crotch causing him to fall down to his knees, cupping his balls with one hand as his face turned five shades of red.
"You want more?" I smirked as I uttered and began to step away.
"Do you?" He spat out, clearly in pain, and it was then that I noticed the two guys running towards us in a distance. Good estimation I made.
"Come on, how is this fair." I whined throwing my hands in the air as I backed away from the three man, or should I say five now.
"Like he said, run." His sinister smile was back as I pivoted on my heels and did just that. I ran, and the last thing I heard was him telling the two new comer to go after me, forcing my feet to move faster.
After several minutes my throat was sore and as dry as the Sahara. Then there was my feet that was just as exhausted as I was so after not hearing any thunderous stomps behind me I slowed down to catch my breath.
"Come on she went this way." A voice suddenly echoed in an alley way so I quickly began running again and entered an abandoned warehouse, hiding away from then.
I leaned my back against the wall after their steps faded and I sighed in relief preparing to leave, but was suddenly caught by my shoulder and slammed back against the wall as a large palm covered my mouth. On reflex I threw a punch and struggled against the hand, but my fist was blocked, then I froze when I heard the familiar voice.
"Shh. Don't move, they're still out there." Chris. It was him. His soothing voice travelled through my ear and my erratic beating heart gradually subsided as I heard him. And of course he was right. The two guys then sprinted past the warehouse towards the direction they came from, earning another sigh of relief from me.
