His face seemed vaguely familiar, so I squinted my eyes trying to pin point it in my memory. When the memory flashed in my head along with his scarred face I cussed under my breath and mentally scolded myself because I had been so reckless.
But either way the fear rapidly turned to anger once I remembered whose side hand man he was.
Before he could land one on me- or before I could block him, someone blocked my view and caught the stranger's punch then pushed him away.
"Walk away." His baritone voice warned and I almost creamed my panties. I then took in his familiar back but soon enough was facing his muscular chest.
He caught my wrist lightly then pulled me away from the crowd. Not worried about the fact that a stranger was pulling me to god knows where my eyes scanned the crowd for Bri and Dan, soon enough I caught their familiar figure on the dance floor and sighed in relief.
The cold breeze of the night then caressed my skin and I was brought back to my senses then pulled my wrist out of the mans tight grip. His steps halted and so did mine then he pivoted on his heels and faced me with a not so friendly face.
"Piece of advice, don't punch just anyone in an unknown club. You got that?" He rebuked and I stared dumbfounded.
Well he has got a lotta nerve.
I opened my mouth to respond but he cut me off.
"Do you have any idea who you just punched?! Now I need to take the responsibility of taking you away from this place before he wreaks havoc, now come on little on, I don't have all night."
Little one?!
The nerve of this too-hot-to-fathom bastard, how old does he think I am? Although, I am known to never look my age when my face is completely neutral, where as when I'm sulking and walking around with a scowl on my face, I am apparently old enough to resemble Godzilla.
"Hey!" He rebuked when I zoned out, not hearing a word he uttered.
"Did you hear a word I said kid? Follow me, I don't have time to babysit."
This guy is really asking for it.
"I never asked you to, also cut it out with calling infant terms, I'm practically your age, excuse me." Fed up with his commands and pulling me around like a dog on a leash, I got my wrist out of his grip then side step him to leave, and of course luck is never on my side.
"Don't walk away from me, I'm trying to save your life here." He caught my wrist in a vice grip once more, i'll be surprised if it didn't bruise.
"Again, I didn't asked you to, I can handle an egotistic bastard, didn't take much to bust his nose up, now run along, this kid has had enough of your presence." I remarked sassily trying to get out of his hold.
Could you be any more of a brat.
The useless argument caused me to bump in another muscular chest and I almost groaned in annoyance.
"Hey there cutie, where you running off to?" Oh. It's Cyrus.
I released an exasperated sigh then faced him with a scowl which he pouted at.
