#11 - The Deal 2.0

No one talks, just crying. Both of them panting, catching their breaths.

As soon as Mina realized that she was in between Chaeyoung's arms for a long moment. She then pulled her away and cursed, "Shit! I am sorry for this Chaeyoung"

"No, Myoui it's fine"

"No, ahm.. I am sorry.. For what I have caused you, my father actually.. I am sorry for everything, Chaeyoung" Mina, as she mentioned her father, got teary eyed again. But she controlled it knowing that Chaeyoung is looking at her straight in the eyes. Awkward it may seem, but no one cares.

"Yah! Myoui! Why are you so hard headed? I said it's okay right? You don't have to say sorry. Besides, it's only 2 months and good thing, we don't need to act like a married couple. And both of our families have benefits so it's a win win situation"

"Why do you keep calling me Myoui, tho? Anyways, thank you, even though I am rude to you and keep annoying you haha" Mina chuckled that made Chaeyoung laugh as well.

"Hmm, I don't want to call you Mina for some reason and yeah, I hate you always! For being a weirdo like wth is wrong with you and you keep barging to me everytime? Honestly, you're getting to my nerves so I'm sorry that I really cannot stand being with you in the same room."

"Likewise, idiot!" Mina laughed.

"Hahaha. Hey, don't try to kill yourself again, huh? You will be my wife sooner or later, so you better listen to me!"

"Luh, asa ka! And to tell you, I really don't want to kill myself. I... just got carried away by my emotions and honestly, when I realized that I was about to climb the railings, and got my senses back, I got scared. That if you wasn't here, I maybe dead by now. So thank you" Mina calmly said.

"So okay, no more dramas and let's go to my unit. Let's talk to our dads now. Wait... Is it really okay with you? About the deal? I mean, if you don't want to.. I can just disagree also." Chaeyoung asked Mina.

"No, it's fine. Sabagay, my brother is at sake and I need to save him, even atleast by doing this. So, c'mon"

They both walked towards the elevator and entered together. Soon, when they already arrived at Chaeyoung's front door, they both heave a deep sigh and crossed their fingers.

"Hey, Chaeng, ahm Mina? I thought you both hate each other, why are you now together-"

"Dami mong ebas dad haha, it's a long story.. and we're here to tell you that-" Chaeyoung interrupted when someone knocked the door. It's Mina's dad. The both parties sat down to the couch and talked to their deals.

"Okay so, since both of you Mina and Chaeyoung already talked about it. Let's talk about the deal. You get married as soon as possible, and when it happened. I will disclose Mr. Son's loan to me. By that, I can show the contract to Mr. Takahara indicating that you, Mina, is already married here in Korea and her son cannot push himself to you ever again. And my Kai, will be safe. I will get him back from Mr. Takahara. Is that okay? Is there any objections? How about questions?"

"How about the wedding, Mr. Myoui, is it like the usual? You know, the legal marriage? Or we'll just go civil?" Chaeyoung asked.

"It depends upon you two. As long as it has a contract and it is valid, it's fine. We'll leave it to you and your family. I will shoulder the expenses and all... So, I'll leave you here now, I need to meet someone tonight, bye.."

Akira was about to leave when Mina speaks in japanese "Otosan! If I ever find out something fishy about this deal aside from those you have mentioned, you'll regret everything!" that made her father giggle, "kinishinaide!" (no worries).

Mina stared at her father making his way to the door. Leaving Mina, at Chaeyoung's unit with her father.

The conversation between Mina and Akira leave Chaeyoung and her dad confused. They didn't understand what they are saying but the can feel the tension between the two, so Chaeyoung's father decided to leave afterwards.

"So, Chaeng. I'll leave you two to talk okay? I'll call you tomorrow. Remember what I pleased you, darling. Sorry for everything okay? Everything will be fine. I swear" Chaeyoung just nod. Her dad came closer to her and kissed her temple "We'll talk again tomorrow. Bye, darling. Bye Mina." He said as he get her bag and went directly to the open door.

Next, Chaeyoung, who's zoning out after her dad left, completely staring at nothing.

"Chaeyoung, are you okay?"

"I don't know. I.. I'm just thinking of something."

"Okay. So, I'll go to my room now.."

"Wait! Uhm, are you sure you are okay with this? I mean, I don't know if you are angry with ever since but.." Chaeyoung stopped Mina from walking.

"Dumbass, I told you it's fine right?"

"Ahm, s-so what's the plan?" Chaeyoung stutters.

"I don't know? Maybe stick to their plans? And do as they pleased? But let me just remind you Chaeyoung that my father isn't good for nothing. I'm sure he has another plan rather than this and I want you to ready yourself. We can still be friends and please, stop being angry at me all the freakin time"

"I.. Ahm, I'm sorry. It's just that, I find you so weird haha okay, let's stay what we are, neighbours, well we're not that stranger anymore, and oh.. I take back what I said before, that I will never be your friend hahaha I didn't see this coming. Anyway, we will stay as we are outside this building like what we are before, I can't be close to you because I still have to deal with my lunatic ex girlfriend, and I don't want you to get involved with her crazy little plans" Chaeyoung nervously chuckle.

"Haha no worries, and if ever, I can literally kill her with my bare hands, if you want..."

"No, actually, her father was a politician.. a corrupt one... He tolerates her daughter's wrong doings so reporting Hyewon to the police will be no good, even harming her will be nonsense."

"Oh, I see. Don't worry, your future wife has a lot of connections also, we can beat her in any other way."

"Future wife, my ass."

"Hahaha so yeah, I'll go ahead now. Bye, Chaeng"

"Hey, it's only my family who calls me that! Don't call me with that name! Take it back! Yah! Myoui!"

"Well, you are calling me Myoui and no one ever calls me that" Mina said as she runs toward the door, avoiding Chaeyoung's death glare as she walked without looking her.

"Aish! That brat!" Chaeyoung shouted as she closed the door and smiled a little.
