#28 - The Aftermath?

"Okay, I'll explain it you then so you will know."

Chaeyoung nods as she shift her head to Mina.

"Okay, Chaeng. I am really not certain about this but I really think we are not safe, atleast now. I mean, my dad has been good these days and it is unusual for me. He's not good for nothing, Chaeng. I really think he had a plan aside from this marriage. You remember when we're still at the embassy and my dad told me that we'll celebrate my birthday? That confirms my hunches, that he will do something. My birthday is fast approaching and honestly, my grandfather made an announcement and signed a contract that he will inherit all of his properties to my name once I turn 23. And my dad was really against the idea because he wanted my brother to have atleast one benefit but since my brother was still in his state right now, my grandfather didn't bother. My dad really has a cold blood when it comes to me, Chaeng. And I know he will do anything just to shut me down.."

"That's scary, Minari. But what about my dad? Why did he used my dad in the first place? Is it really just about my dad's debt to your dad?"

"I still don't know, Chaeng. Basta, don't tell to your dad everything. And, just don't tell him where you are because, obviously, my dad is using your dad just to know where I am and to tell my ex just to follow me or spy on me. And one thing, I just think that my ex boyfriend is now on my father's side but I still don't know the reason. I'm still trying to find out. For now, let's be more vigilant Chaeng. I'll try to look for a house away from the city, there we can live without anyone spying on us but promise to not tell anyone about the place, okay? We'll be more careful because I can't afford to lose anyone, Chaeng. Not even you"

"Minari, I don't know what to react because I am still processing the thought okay haha and besides, I don't know your dad and that ex of yours. But let me tell you this, whatever happens, I'm always here okay? Just tell me your concerns baby let's figure it out togethere, okay? I know it's kind of cliché coz we only got together atleast, months or weeks ago but I've known you for too long, di nga lang tayo bati hahaha. Minari, whatever your decision is, I'll support you haaa" Chaeyoung said before scooting Mina inside her warm hug.

Mina went inside Chaeyoung's wide arms for a hug, "Thank you, Chaeng-chaeng! I don't know when but I knew I love you haha weird but yeah, I love you Chaeng"

"I love you too. No, I love you more! hehe just always be safe, Minari"

"Chaeng, I'm always safe haha they cannot hurt me because they need me. It's you who needs safety, your family."

"We will, Minari-" Chaeyoung's words were cut off when a loud noise coming from the outside interrupted..

"Chaeyoung?! Mina unnie?!"

"What the-" Chaeyoung and Mina got startled by the loud noise!

"What the heck do you want?"

"I don't want to disturb you but.."

Chaeyoung can't understand the latter's words so she stood up. But before she could finally stand up, she forgot she was naked because of what happened. So she grabbed Mina's t-shirt and shorts because it would be a hussle if she's going to wear hers. While Mina is on the bed, covered her whole body with the blanket.

"What is it?"

"Hi. Ahm, could you please transfer this girl to another room? I really cannot stand her."

"Why? What's the matter, Tzuyu?"

"Please just transfer Sana unnie to another room, Chaeyoung. She's really annoying me. My head hurts so much but she's stil wants me to play"

Mina held a loud laugh after hearing Tzuyu's complain. Mina walked closer to the door while wearing the blanket as a dress to cover her whole body.
