#17 - Unexpected Person

When the two finally get back to Chaeyoung's unit. Mina helped Chaeyoung reach for her medicine at the night table while sitting at the edge of the bed,

"Do you always take these meds, Chaeng? Do you often have headache?" Mina asked to Chaeyoung who's drinking the glass of water Mina brought.

Chaeyoung just shook her head to answer Mina's question.

"Hey Myoui, your knuckles are bleeding!"

"No, it's fine, I'll just wash it off and it'll be gone na. Don't worry-"

"Yah! No, come here-" Chaeyoung pulled Mina closer to her and fished out her first aid kit that was in her drawer.

"You're really a hard headed penguin, aren't you? You almost killed Hyewon earlier, I'm scare she might revenge to you sooner or later..." Chaeyoung said. Mina just chuckles as soon as she heard Chaeyoung's words.

"Yah! Why are you laughing? Aish- Btw, thank you. That was intense. You looked so cool, and hot earlier hahaha" Chaeyoung added as she wiped the blood on Mina's knuckles and fingers. She even put ointment on it.

"See? That's how coward she is. She ran fast as soon as you counted. You saw her scared face? Hays, I don't know if what I should feel"

"What do you think you should feel after seeing her face, Chaeng?" Mina curiously asked.

"Ahm, I don't know if I should feel relieved that somehow, she got scared... if I should feel scared of the other possible things she might do not only to me, but to you as well... or I should pity her"

Instantly, Mina felt a pang on her heart when she heard Chaeyoung feeling pity towards her ex.

I don't know why I felt something in my heart when I heard you pity her. Is it because I pummeled her? Does it means you still care for her? Do you? I mean.. what now Mina, if Chaeyoung still care for her ex? Huh? I don't know anymore.

Mina's change of expression is literally visible to Chaeyoung, "Hey, no, I mean, I felt pity to her because of her condition, not because you beat her ha. Just to make sure you won't misunderstand me" Chaeyoung cleared it out.

I somehow felt relieved when Chaeng cleared it out. Wait.. Why am I feeling this? I am just a nobody. You don't want to fall for her Mina, you promised yourself you won't fall for anyone, not now.

"Ahm Chaeng can you please tell me what really happened earlier? I just don't want to jump into conclusions."

Chaeyoung specifically explained to Mina what happened. Well she doesn't know how she got here tho. All she can remember is when Hyewon dragged her to the wall.

"Oh so that's from your unit? The loud noise? Hey are you fine?"

"Ah, no no, I think what you meant is the lamp, it's when Hyewon was about to walk closer to me and I cannot think of anything until I felt the lamp on my hand, I threw it supposedly to her but she avoided it and the lamp went straight to my table." Chaeyoung said as she pointed out the wrecked table in her living room.

"Oh, I see. Hey ahm, do you want me to get you some clothes? For you to be able to sleep comfortably."

"No, dress me up, instead. Haha joke, no I'll get it. Thank you, Myoui"

"Haha dummy" Mina said, staring at Chaeyoung walking towards her closet.

Once Chaeyoung came back, she immediately rushed to the bed and hugged Mina. "Thank you, Myoui! Really! Thanks a lot, if you aren't here, I maybe don't know what to do" Mina froze to her place when she felt Chaeyoung's boobie on her arms. What the actual fuck Chaeng get off me.
