Kait's POV

I jumped off the swing and stick the landing with falling strait on my back...

"Oh my gosh! Kaitlyn!" Jaden rushed over to me and helped me up, "are you okay?" He asked.

"Yes!!" I laughed. He let out a breath I didn't know he was holding and helped me get up all the way to where I was standing.

"Oh my gosh!! Are you okay sweetie?" I heard a woman ask. I turned around to face the woman that me and Jaden were talking about.

"Yeah, actually I just tried to act like I was 5 again" I joked. The woman laughed along with me and faced Jaden.

"Do you need help with her or will you be okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'll be okay. I'm used to this by now." He told her. I smacked his arm and turned to the lady.

"I'm not that bad!" I told him, "anyways, yeah we'll be fine" I laughed.

"Okay well, y'all seem to be doing good so I'll go actually. My husband is probably waiting for me so I'll be on my way."

"Oh okay well you be safe and have a good evening!" I called out. The woman waved and walked off.

"I know she was married" Jaden said.

"Bullshit! You never said anything about if they were girlfriend or boyfriend!"

"You're right! I didn't say it OUTSIDE of my head!" He yelled, running to the car.

"WAIT!!" I laughed and ran after him. After what felt like 5 minutes of running because of my short legs, I finally made it to the car.

"What the hell took you so long?" He asked.

"I don't know, maybe my short ass legs!" I replied. I got in the car and shut the door. He started the car and started driving off.

"So where we going to eat?" I asked.

"We're going to Chi Spacca!" He told me.

"Chi what-a?" I asked.

"Chi Spacca! It's an Italian restaurant and supposedly it's really nice."

"Well if it's nice then I wanna change!" I told him.

"It's not THAT nice" he told me

"I don't care. I still wanna change"

"Nope. And if you wanna change because of a restaurant then we're going to Chick-fil-A!" He said.

"Okay. I be fine with Chick-fil-A" I said. He nodded and started driving that way. Yes. Chick-fil-A with the guy I love. Yes!!

After driving for about fifteen minutes, we made it to a Chick-fil-A. I was about to get out when Jaden grabbed my leg.

"Hey, let's sit here for a few. Okay?" He suggested.

"Yeah, uh- sure" I sat back down and closed the door. For the next five minutes, we stayed in the car with silence.

"Okay, I have to get out, I'm starving" I broke the silence and opened the door and stepped out.

"You ready to go in now?" He asked, laughing relating to what I said.

"Yes, please." I walked over to him and he took me into his arms. I turned around so that my backside was facing him and I started walking. When we got to the door, Jaden opened it and we walked in. There was a line like always and we waited. I turned back around and faced Jaden, hugging him while I put my head on his chest. He laid his head on top of mine and kissed it. It felt nice like this right now. In his arms. I wanted to stay there forev-
