Chapter 21

When morning came I made breakfast for Donna and I left a note saying I'll be out for a bit and I'll be back around noon. I wanted to see if I can find anything else about this ritual that Damien is trying to do so I had Shade teleport me to Lady Dimitrescu castle. I knocked on the castle doors and a maid answered. The maid suddenly gasped and bowed.

"What can I do for you Lady Heisenberg?"

Lady Heisenberg?

"Uh yeah... I need to talk to Lady Dimitrescu." I said a bit uncomfortable.

"Yes, of course. Please follow me." The maid let me in and lead me into the dining room. Lady Dimitrescu and her daughter were finishing up breakfast.

"Lady Dimitrescu, Lady Heisenberg wishes to speak with you." The maid said bowing.

"Thank you, you are dismissed." Lady Dimitrescu said standing up brushing herself off.

"So, I'm assuming that my father has told you about me then." I said watching the maid leave.

"Yeah, Heisenberg told everyone of you. Anyway what brings you here?" Lady Dimitrescu asked.

"I was wondering if I could look through your library to see what books you have." I said.

"Of course you can have a look. Cassandra please take y/n to the library." Lady Dimitrescu said.

"Yes mother."

Cassandra beckoned me to follow her.

"So, you are Heisenberg's daughter huh? Who would of thought." Cassandra randomly said.

"Yeah it was a shock to me as well." I mentioned.

Once we got to the library Cassandra opened the door for me, bowed and then walked off. I found that a bit weird that everyone has been bowing down to me because they have found out I'm Heisenberg's daughter. I shook that out of my mind and was now on the hunt to see if I can find any other books about the ritual.

Literally an hour later I couldn't find anything. I let out a frustrated sigh and sat down at one of the nearby tables. I rested my head on my hand on looked around the room out of boredom. The light shined from the windows lit up the whole room almost. I was admiring the light until something caught my eye. On the very top of the bookshelf in the far left corner was something that was glowing. My curiosity got me and I got up and walked over to the bookshelf only to realize that there was no way in hell I was going to reach it.

"Would you like me to get that for you master?" I heard Shade say.

"Yes please."

Shade flew up, grabbed the object and flew down and handed it to me. It was a book coated in very thick layer of dust.

"Shade, go get me a dry washcloth please." I said trying not to sneeze.

Shade disappeared then reappeared with a washcloth in his claws. I started wiping the book clean sneezing 100 times in the process but it was finally spotless. The book was called The Ritual Of Woe, book 1/2.

I opened the book and read the first page and my eyes widened. This book explains how the ritual that Damien is trying to do works and how to stop it if it has started. It seems that this book only explains what the items represent and has a list of things to collect to undo the ritual. The other book the that Damien has only tells him how to do it while this one tell you how to  counter it. I began to read on how to stop the ritual.

"To stop The Ritual Of Woe you need to get A Tear Of The Maiden, Sun Kissed Rose, Purified Water, and A Soul Searing Dagger. Only the four bloodlines can make these items. Bless the Searing Dagger with the other items and stab the body subjected to the ritual."

I was in shock when I read that outloud. This was literally a fetch quest but if this is the only way to stop the ritual then so be it, I'll get these items. I ran out of the library like a psycho and ran down the halls and ran right into Lady Dimitrescu.

"Oh I'm so sorry. I was going to fast to stop." I said breathing heavily.

"It's fine but why are you running?" Lady Dimitrescu asked.

"I found this book on top of one of your bookshelves and it was covered in dust so I cleaned it. Come to find out this book explains what the ritual Damien is trying to do and how to stop it. I need everyone's help to get the items for only the four bloodlines aka you, Donna and such can make or get them." I said in one breath.

"May I see that?" Lady Dimitrescu asked.

I nodded and handed her the book. Her eyes widened once she started to read it. Lady Dimitrescu handed me back the book.

"Everyone needs to be here I'll call them and let them know immediately." Lady Dimitrescu said.

I stopped her before she could walk off.

"Don't I'll just have Shade teleport them all here and besides it will surprise them all and Shade gets enjoyment out of it." I said.

"Alright but make sure they get to the living room." Lady Dimitrescu said.

I nodded and I let her go.

"Shade I know you heard me. I would like it done and I don't care if they ask or protest, just get them here and meet me in the living room."

I heard Shade giggle at what I said and I heard a faint as you wish master. I found my way to the living room which only took me about 2 minutes to find, I saw Lady Dimitrescu set tea onto the table. Suddenly a pool of shadows formed by the table and out came everyone. Heisenberg, Salvatore, and Donna looked around panicked until they saw me and Lady Dimitrescu.

"Please sit down we need to have a talk." Lady Dimitrescu said.

Everyone sat down and of course I sat down next to Donna and Angie.

"So, what's this about?" Father asked.

Lady Dimitrescu took a sip of her blood tea and said,

"Y/n, tell them what you have found out."
