Chapter 10

Donna and I were sleeping together peacefully. I was dreaming about me and Buttons playing hide and seek like we used to. I suddenly felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to see Marvin.

"Marvin what are you doing its literally 1 in the morning." I said sleepily.

"Hate to wake you master but someone is outside walking around." Marvin said.

"Wait what?" I said confused.

Who the hell is walking around at this time? I got up making sure that I didn't wake Donna up and I gently closed the door behind me before I power walked downstairs.

"Marvin, where are they now?" I asked.

"They are heading to the front of the manor master." Marvin replied.

"Go follow them. You will be my eyes." I ordered.

Marvin nodded and disappeared into the shadows. I can see whatever my puppets see, there is nothing anyone can do without me knowing about it if I desire to know. I set up hidden strings at all of the possible entrances, now if they get in I'll know about it. Looking through Marvin's eyes I can see that this person was holding something round. The person walked near one of the windows and threw the round object at the window shattering it. Then he jumped into the house stepping on my hidden string.

My eyes went wide when I realized where they were going. They are making their way to Donna. I growled and pulled on the string that they stepped on since it attached to them. I basically dragged them to me. I had Marvin stand by until I needed him. I wrapped them in my strings so they couldn't hurt me.

"Who the hell are you and what business do you have here." I said irritated.

The person laughed and said, "Why so angry? What have I done to you y/n?"

That voice...

"Why can't you leave me alone?!" I growled.

"Because I believe you can still be saved from the lies you have been told by your mother and everyone else." The man said.

"Why should I believe someone I don't know?" I asked.

"Oh but you do know me y/n, you know my name and everything about me." The man replied.

"Damien. That's all I know. I know nothing else about you now why the hell are you here!" I said raising my voice.

"Heh, you and I aren't so different but I see that I came at the wrong time. Here let me give you a gift." Damien said.

Damien suddenly disappeared and then teleported behind me.

"Let's show Miss Donna what you look like when you go into your special form shall we?" Damien said.

My eyes went wide I knew exactly what he was talking about. I didn't have time to react and Damien injected a liquid that forces you to expose your true form. However for a puppeteer we hide this because technically we have two forms. One that looks normal and we use every day and then the one were we use our full power. The pain was almost unbearable and I didn't want to scream because I didn't want to wake Donna up. Marvin came out of the shadows and hit Damien in the back causing him to growl and teleport away.

I fell to the floor in pain and my tears made my vision blurry. When the pain stopped I got up and ran into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and started to cry harder. My eyes were glowing a light purple and purple cracks were on my body. There was one crack on my right eye that started to glow as well. That's when I noticed all of the cracks were glowing faintly. I've never wanted anyone to see this part of me because I don't want to scare anyone. I wiped my tears away and I made my way to my room. I grabbed black leggings, black socks, a white tank top, and a oversized black hoodie with a rabbit drinking tea on it. I put the clothes on and found my old bunny mask I used to wear when I couldn't control my form. I put the mask on and sat in the living room.
