At the laboratory Ava and Dr. Davis were set to tend the wounded, Lillian had returned to the rest of them after leaving the other two.

"So, the Drake brothers, please elaborate." Davis was focused on finding the least painful way of getting rid of the restricting devices when he asked.

"Liam and I were finished with the search and headed towards the other three, but before we could go any further a man stopped us, throwing a fireball at me." Derek began to explain his encounter with one of the Drake brothers. "Ah" he hissed when Ava made contact with a wound he had on the right side of his torso.

" I'm sorry." The girl muttered

"Anyway, continuing with my story, at first we didn't know who the individual was, but when Liam asked and we learned that he was Salvador Drake, we realized that it was one of the brothers and the fight began." He lifted his arm as Ava began placing the bandage around his injured middle.

"We used our powers the best we could, but Salvador surpassed us, he used his firepower to extract the oxygen from around us. He was slowly suffocating us, but suddenly we saw how a light lazer hit him, that's when we were allowed to breathe again. " Liam continued explaining the fight, somewhat disappointed in his performance. "We realized that a new subject was fighting with Salvador, he managed to hold him to the ground long enough for me to imprison him in the rubble. We escaped from there as quickly as possible. We headed towards the other ones, who apparently were also having problems."

"By the way, what's your friend's name  Spencer?" Ava asked.
Spencer had been tense the entire time they have talked about the Drake brothers. He barely heared what Ava asked him.

"Ummm .... oh yeah, sorry I forgot to tell you his name .... umm his name is James Knight." He cleared his throat but unfortunately couldn't do the same with his mind, his withdrawn form stayed like a shadow at the back of the room.

"Well James arrived just in time, I don't know how we would have gotten out of there without his help." Liam put the cherry flavored sucker that he was enjoying back into his mouth when he finished talking.

"I'm sure we would've find a way." Derek argued, the fact that they relied on the version of this new guy saving them was bothering him more than he liked to admit. This weird feeling rising from the pit of his stomach and heating up his blood had initiated the moment he catched how comfortable James was when touching Megan.

"Are you kidding me? He saved us all Grey, they were about to kill us, Scott was killing Megan. You're just jealous that this time you weren't the hero!" Tyler's words lingered with the tiniest bit of aggressiveness he could muster. For him is was simply put, James saved them, he was the one who got Megan out of the hands of death, and for that he will be eternally grateful.

"Jealous ?! I hope you watch your words Evans, you two are not even an official part of the team yet!" Ava flinched when Derek raised his voice, mostly because of his proximity and that she was right in the middle of the two.

"Really Grey ?!, because the last time ..."

"That's enough!" The yell was hard enough to cut off what Tyler was about to say. "Mr. Evans, if you would be so kind as to come over so I can take that device off you." Doc said with a softer tone, he wanted to stop all the tension in the room. Tyler hesitated a bit, he wanted to keep telling Derek what he thought of him. In the end he approached Davis because he knew he was the only chance he had in the moment to get rid of the stupid artifact sticked in his ankle, after all Stefan had gone before him and everything went pretty well. Tyler really didn't have any better choice.

"We have to be more careful now that we know that the brothers are working with S.I.N. or everthing will begin to get out of our hands." They noded to what their mentor said. Was everthing ever in their hands?
