The team was hiding among the trees, planning how to enter the facility.
"Okay we'll divide into 2 groups, one will take care of the north wing and the other the south wing." They all nodded at Derek's words. "This is how we divide, Liam and ....."
"I'll take care of the north wing group, I'll take Tyler, Stefan, Lillian and James." Megan interrupted Derek, she didn't want to hear yet another one of his leader speeches. Derek just stared at her in disbelief, did they really have to do this again?
Megan matched his gaze, both entering a silent duel, neither backing down, refusing to surrender to the other. They lasted a few seconds like this, until Derek sighed.
"Stone, why can't you just follow orders this time?" He let out through tight teeth. Everyone else just looked at them in silence. Megan approached him to be face to face.
"To be honest, I don't trust you. I'm not good at listening to orders or following them. So I'll take the team and we'll take care of the north wing, you of the south wing and we will communicate when everything is finished." She made sure her words let no room to discuss. After that she left to find an entrance to the building, behind her Stefan, Tyler and James followed her without saying more. Lillian doubted it a for two short seconds but followed her as well, giving the others one last apolegetic look.
"Really Lillian !, you too?" Derek whispered shouted, stopping the girl in her tracks.
"Lillian!" They heard Megan calling from afar.
"Sorry Derek, but she's scary when she's demanding." Lillian said sheepisly and ran to catch up with Megan and the boys.
"Well I suppose it would be a good idea for us to start the mission as well." Ava stoop in, trying to calm Derek's temper.
"You're right Ava, come on Derek or we'll do it without you." Liam couldn't give less to the situation, they were here for a mission and he was concentrated in just that. He began moving towards the building with Ava behind him. Spencer stayed with Derek for a bit longer.
"Derek, you know she's complicated. Don't stress over this." He tried to reason with Derek, knowing that this went deeper than just insignificant clash of opinions in a mission.
"I know, but you heard her, she doesn't trust me. After so long, she still doesn't trust me." He sounded a little disappointed. Hadn't he showed loyalty to her all this time?
"Megan is difficult, I'm sure the only ones she trusts are Tyler and Stefan. Come on, we have a mission and we couldn't do it without our leader." Spencer said with a smile and he playfully hit him on the shoulder. Derek looked at him and nodded, letting out a small smile. They both started walking to catch up with Liam and Ava.

"So what's the plan, OH great Megan." Stefan teased once they were inside the facility.
"Knock out everyone we find and tear this place down." She didn't need much of a plan when the mission had been clear since the beginning, everyone was walking silently, attentive to every possible danger that they might encounter. Megan could feel the presence of the men, thanks to the weapons they carried, that gave the team a little more advantage since they could know where the enemies were and attack them in a surprising way.
"Can you feel them?" Tyler asked Megan in a whisper. She nodded.
"There's a large group heading over here, around the corner, to the left." Megan reported, everyone stopped and waited. "Prepare to attack." She ordered. They all positioned themselves with their backs to the wall. 5 seconds later the group of agents went out from where she had said.
