Temari and hinata, who had nothing to do at the moment, were sitting at a cafe as hinata addressed temaris and shikamarus relationship.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but how's it going with you and shikamaru.. you guys seem to be arguing a lot lately. Is everything fine?"

Hinata was one of the few people who knew about their relationship but she didn't know that they had broken up.

Temari faked a smile and tried to come up with a lie as quick as possible .
"how do I put it.. let's say we're simply having our ups and downs" hinata nodded but temari could tell that she wasn't really buying what she was told.

"Did he do anything" hinata seemed really worried which made temari feel bad since she didn't want to lie to a friend who just wanted to make sure that she's okay. "Actually yes.. I haven't really talked to anyone about it yet so it's kinda hard for me" the suna princess looked down at her lemonade as hinatas face saddened.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to" temari sighed deeply.
"I think it's time for me to finally talk to someone about this, keeping my feelings bottled up all these months has been nothing but torture" hinata pouted. It was the first time that she's seen the normally so confident and strong kunoichi so vulnerable and sad.

"Just let it out, you'll feel better afterwards.. and maybe I could even help you out somehow" temari chuckled shaking her head. "There's nothing anyone can do unless someone could turn back time.. he cheated on me" she said staring into the distance as hinatas eyes shot wide open.

"what?! Shikamaru.. out of all the guys in Konoha I could've never imagined him doing something like that" hinata gently placed her hand on top of temaris. "How did you find out" hinata asked looking down. She felt incredibly bad for her friend.

"Well one time, when I was in your village, I wanted to surprise him so I went to his house.. I first heard a female voice but didn't think much of it but then just as I was about to knock on the door.." temaris voice almost cracked but she quickly cleared her throat and took a deep breath. "I heard moans and screams and all types of sexual noises.. I couldn't believe it so I decided to go for a walk and think of a logical explanation for what I just witnessed"

hinatas eyes began to water since she imagined how horrible she would feel if she'd ever witness naruto doing something like that.

"And then I-I saw tayuya walking up the street from the direction of shikamarus house" a single tear rolled down temaris face which she immediately wiped away.
"Are you sure that it was actually hi-" before hinata could finish Her sentence temari shot her head at the hyuga princess causing her to stop talking.

"once I confronted him, he kept stuttering and stumbling over his words. He usually never does that, I know when this bitch lies and his cheap excuse made no sense after all" hinata nodded slowly "but how do you know that it was Tayuya out of everyone?"
"I know that she had a crush on him for years and when I saw her she was all sweaty, out of breath, her hair was a mess and her clothes were barely on" temaris sadness turned into anger as she crossed her arms chuckling.

"This is awful I'm so sorry temari" hinata side hugged her as temari shrugged "no need to be sorry, it's his loss in the end" temari sounded as confident as usual as she got up. Hinata got up as well as they laid for their drinks and left the cafe.

The hyuga couldn't believe that shikamaru would do something like that at all, so she decided to talk to him about it as soon as possible.

As temari was on her way back to he Hotel, she heard the well known voice of her ex.
Turning her head to the side she saw a female rubbing her hand over the Naras chest seductively, causing temaris blood to boil.

The suna princess quietly snuck near to them and Listened to their conversation.
"I already gave it to you.. just leave Before someone sees us"
temari scrunched her face up. Did he really sleep with this random chick?
"Awe cmon cutie, you could give me some more" the cheaply dressed female winked at the male in front of her who sighed.

"Seriously leave" his tone was more aggressive now which caused the woman to chuckle. "Alright, let me know if you changed your mind" she brushed her fingers against his goatee and walked off finally as temari felt incredibly jealous.
She used to play with his beard all the time and seeing another woman touching it made her angry.

Just as shikamaru was about to leave as well temari quickly approached him from behind and slapped his neck. The Nara shot his head back at her as his eyes widen slighlty.
"What was that for" he rubbed his neck, looking confused at his ex who was about to loose it.

"You fucking whore" she shouted at him. Shikamaru could hear the pain in her voice which made him feel bad even though he didn't do anything wrong .

"What did I do woman" crossing his arms he tilted his head as temari rolled her eyes. "Fucking prostitutes, is that how low you're already" shikamaru immediately understood what she meant and shook his head.
"No way, I had to sell this annoying female some weed that's all.. since you were already watching us, I'm sure you saw me curving her" he explained raising an eyebrow as he realized that she was jealous.

Temari looked around nervously since she felt like she got caught by him. "Yeah whatever" she mumbled "troublesome woman" shikamaru chuckled as temari was about to walk off but shikamaru grabbed her arm.
"I don't want you walking around these streets by yourself" he said softly as the suna princess tried to suppress a blush.
"I can take care of myse-" "let me walk you" the Nara interrupted her, still holding onto her arm as they walked off.

There was a slightly uncomfortable silence between them but shikamaru didn't care as long as he could be close to her without having to argue.
