April Showers Bring May Flowers

~(Y/N) POV~

Beep, Beep, Beep

I give a small yawn as I roll over and shut-off my alarm. I swing my legs off my bed standing up to peacefully make my way to the kitchen and make myself a nice breakfast. 

...Is what I wish I was doing. As of right now, I'm sprinting through the rain on my way to school, trying to find some sort of shelter.

As I'm running, I come across an umbrella stand, I quickly make my way underneath. I instantly notice that there is a slender looking boy about my age, with a messy mop of raven hair and steely grey eyes hidden under a pair of black rimmed clear glasses.

'He's very handsome, though I don't think I've seen I'm at school before... OHHH, he must be the new transfer student everyones gossiping about, he doesn't look like he would hurt someone intentionally though' I ponder.

He suddenly turns his head and that was the moment I realised, I was staring at him, I avert my eyes to the ground as I feel my face begin to burn in embarrassment and I start playing with my fingers.

~Ren's POV~

As I am waiting for the rain to lighten a bit I notice a someone run under the same shelter I'm standing under, she comes to a stop on my right. I quickly glance at her, she's wearing the Shujin uniform with a (F/C) bag and boots. I turn back to my phone where I find the weird eye app I deleted last night.

I go to delete it but stop short when I feel that someone is looking at me, I look to my right and find the girl staring at me. Her eyes widen as if in realisation and quickly looks to the ground and fiddles with her fingers, as some of her (H/C) hair falls in front of her face I notice that a bit of redness has crept onto her cheeks as well.

'Cute' I think. I open my mouth to say something but stop when I see someone stop on my left side, another girl but she has her ash-blonde hair up in twin tails. She looks at me and we lock eyes. My eyes widen as she reached up and plucked a flower petal from my curls, after she gave a small smile before she turned to face the road.

'She's wearing the same uniform, Shujin has some really pretty girls.' I note looking straight ahead of me I feel a somewhat awkward atmosphere begin to arise. Then out of the corner of my eye I see a white car pull up and roll down its window, inside was a middle-aged man.

"Morning! Want me to give you a ride to school? If you stay there waiting for the rain to stop, you'll be late." He speaks.

He seemed to be talking to the girl on my left. she lets out a small smile and replies "Sure."

He looks over to me and the other girl, "What about you two? You wan't a ride?"

I politely shake my head "No, thank you." 

To my right I notice that the (H/C) haired girl has tensed and has a mix of disgust and anger in her (E/C) eyes. "No, but thanks for the offer." She speaks politely despite the look in her eyes.

"Alright if you say so." He says before rolling up the window and driving off, presumably to school.

"That stupid *huff* pervy teacher" I hear someone huff out, I look over and find a boy with bleached blond hair. "Pervy teacher?" I question aloud confused, he turns and stomps over to me.

"And what are you lookin' at, huh? Gonna rat me out to Kamoshida or somethin'?" He said admittedly very rudely.

"Kamoshida?" Now I'm even more confused.

"Kamoshida was the one in the car just now." I hear a voice to my right, it was the (H/C) girl 'she has a nice voice...'

I'm pulled out of my thoughts by the blondie, "Yeah him! The sleazy jerk is waaaay to into high school girls. Gives 'em rides in his car, calls 'em in for 'private counselling'. Like dude! What are you the king of the castle or somethin' ?!"

"King of the castle?" I question again as if someone is going to help me understand.

"Huh, really?... hang on a sec. Do you seriously have no idea who Kamoshida is? You do go to Shujin right?" He asks getting in my face to which I lean backwards. We then hear a scoff from beside us, we look down and see the (H/C) girl.

"Of course he doesn't know Sakamoto-san, he's the new transfer student. He has no earthly idea who he truly is." She stated matter-of-factly while rolling her eyes.

"Well that makes sense, c'mon. The rain's let up we better hurry or we'll be late." Sakamoto states, and starts walking down an alley.

~3rd person POV~

As Sakamoto walks down the alley, Ren and (Y/N) trailed after. (Y/N) looks at Ren and notices some kind of strange app on his phone saying -begin navigation-. 'Must be a navigation app, he is new I guess' she thinks and brushes it off.

Wanting to avoid any awkward silence, she starts off with the most basic but effective conversation starter, "I'm just realising that I haven't introduced myself yet. My name's (Y/N) (L/N), its nice to meet you..." she trails off looking up at him, waiting for his name.

Hearing her voice Ren turns to find the girl, (Y/N), and takes a second to look at her appearance, she has beautiful (E/C) eyes and (H/L) (H/C). She has a two piercings on both of her ear lobes, one on the top of her left helix, and two on her right helix. She's wearing the Shujin uniform with black thigh high socks with (F/C) boots, and various leather bracelets on her wrists. 'She's really pretty' he thinks with a small blush on his face. "Amamiya, Ren Amamiya." he replies with a hint of a smile, since someones being nice to him for the first time in awhile.

'Crap, crap, crap, he's cute!' as she panics in her head as a faint blush spreads across the tops of her cheeks. She smiles up at him looking into his kind, relaxed eyes she replies "nice to meet you, Amamiya-kun, I hope we can be friends."

"Me too, (L/N)-san." Ren replies now grinning slightly, along with the (H/C) girl, both of them excited they made a friend for the first time in awhile.

They converse in some small talk that I cant be bothered to describe until a wave dizziness washes over them, leaving them stumbling. (Y/N) grasped her head trying to ease the vertigo when a loud "huuuuh!" from Sakamoto alerts them both.

As Ren and (Y/N) turn to see what caused the commotion only to find a grand palace surrounded by walls and bushes, all of them equally confused as to what is doing there.
