~3rd Person POV~

.

.

.

The world is not as it should be.

It's filled with distortion and "ruin" can no longer be avoided.

Those who oppose fate and desire change...

from time to time, they were referred to as Tricksters.

You are the Trickster...

But you are not alone, there are others with the same resolve.

You must find them.

Now, it is time to rise against the abyss of distortion.

Everything was perfect. It was time to commence the operation.

. . .

The lights of the casino were blinding and gamblers were chatting away without a care in the world, at least they were. The excitement and anticipation in the air was dispersed at the sound of alarms blaring and the appearance of several guards, shadows. All of them rushing to an unknown destination only to stop in confusion seeming to lose who they were supposedly chasing, completely unaware that the were above them smirking at the chaos caused.

The two looked down upon the chaos they had created.

"You ready?" A feminine voice was heard the owner turned her head towards her partner standing to her left.

"I was born ready, Darling~" The teasing undertone clear in his voice, he picked up her hand giving it a fleeting kiss before pulling her along the hanging lights which were surprisingly stable, fabric trailing behind them. Stopping at a vent she unscrews it, pulling it off and flinging it out into the crowd below not caring if it was to hit someone. He throws a briefcase through it and in the blink of an eye they're off again, towards an exit.

They run through multiple different hallways, all looking somewhat similar with nothing note worthy. Some guards had spotted them and were only a few metres behind them, yelling for them to stop.

The (H/C) haired girl let out a quiet giggle before speaking up loud enough for the ones behind them to hear, "Why the hell do they always yell at us to stop and slow down, the exact opposite of what we're doing as if we're suddenly going to listen? Man they must be really stupid." The masked black haired boy beside her chuckled as he heard the uproars of anger and protest behind them.

"You always know just how to rile a person up don't you?" The teasing tone never leaving his voice. They took a sharp right and a left soon after while they were out of the guards sight. Hiding in the shadows they watched the guards run by them.

They take off once again up a flight of stairs before coming across a T intersection hallway, hearing another set of guards behind them they knew it was time to split up. Leaning in the masked female gave a quick kiss to his cheek, "See you soon, love." And just like that she was off running to the right. The male stood still for half a second a stupid grin settled across his face, but the moment was fleeting as he took off to the left.
