The worst thing in my life

Kori's pov

I couldn't believe it Xavier shot Richard and I stood there frozen in place shocked in fear. As soon as Richard fell to the ground everyone comes out to see what happened as I'm still frozen to what I just witnessed. "Xavier why would you do that!" I managed to get the courage to yell at him. "Because baby your mine and always will be. Richard is not right for you and has stolen you away from me so I killed him to get what was once mine again." He smirks meanancingly. The nerve of my ex boyfriend and you have fucking kitten. "You have Kitten why the fuck did you shoot him that girl was all over you and yet both of you bitches want to destroy everything I love who are y'all to do that shit!" My eyes glow green and I punch Xavier in the fucking face. Rachel and Gar have already called the hospital and they just picked up Dick and took him to the hospital. I started having my hands glow green too. "You two will not get away with this!" Then green blast came from my eyes as they hit above Xavier's head. I walked towards him and grabbed him by the neck. "IF I EVER SEE YOU GUYS AROUND ME AND MY SQUAD AND DICK I WILL KILL Y'ALL DO YOU TWO UNDERSTAND THAT! I DON'T CARE IF I GO TO JAIL HELL GET EXPELLED I WILL MAKE Y'ALL LIVES SO MUCH WORSE THAN YOU'LL EVER KNOW!" Both Kitten and Xavier went pale and both ran out to leave school. And I looked back at everyone including Gar, Rachel, and Vic and they all looked at me in shock. I'm a monster and I have powers and not to even mention I showed them in front of everyone. Then, Komi comes out.

"Sister dear let's go." She grabs my hand and took me to his car. "You should be by his side and probably take a break from class for a day until he recovers and I'll do your homework and everything." Komi says. I nodded and hop in his car and drive to the hospital. I really hope he's okay despite taking that lethal bullet. But in my heart I have faith he's alive. I then finally made it to the hospital and parked the car. I walked in to try and locate Dick. "Hello I'm Kori Anders and I'm trying to find a patient named Dick Grayson." A nice woman smiled and told me what she knew. "Ah yes he's in surgery at this moment if u like u can go straight down this hallway and he'll be right in that 2nd window and you can sit down and watch if you like." She says that and I start to tear up. "Thank you so much!" I said. She must've knew that I was really close with him because with that she puts her hand on my shoulder. "He's gonna be okay I promise." And with that I smiled and thanked her. But as soon as she said your welcome I heard the heart rate of someone just stopped as doctors and surgians rush over to where Dick is at and I instantly worry. "DICK!!" I rushed over to where they were going and I saw.....everything. I had tears in my eyes as they slipped down my face. He's dead..... "NOOOOO!!!" I started to think back about the first time we met and fell to the ground and cry so hard. "No you can't be gone Dick not now!" I sobbed. After a few hours the doctors were trying their best but he was still flat lined and I soonly picked myself up and went back to the car and drove over to Dick's house to explain to his brother Damian to what has happened. I knocked on his door and he answered. "Kori?? Come in what happened to you and where's Dick?" He starts to question quickly. "It's a lot so please let me explain. So Dick your brother has been shot by Xavier my ex boyfriend because he was jealous I was going out with him and he already had Kitten. But I'm guessing him and kitten were both on this because they both were laughing about it. Until I soonly discovered I had powers and shot  eyebeams above his head and I was still shocked about him being shot that I even punched Xavier so hard. I told him and his girl to stay away from him and everyone else or I would kill them and I went and visit Dick in the hospital and I don't think..." I paused to breathe. "You don't think he's what?!" Damian shouts in fear. "I DON'T THINK HE'S ALIVE!!!" I shouted out and covered my mouth in embarrassment. "I'm sorry Damian!" I yelled. With that Damian comes up to me and hugs me tight. "It's okay sis in law...he's not dead ik for sure." He tells me. "Sis in law??" I questioned him. He then smiles. "Dick one day wants to marry you girl he's working so hard to get it down no way he's dead rn." He says truthfully. I was taken aback and blushed.

"Damian I have a question what does Richard do to work so hard about?" I asked. "He works as the boss at our adopted fathers company and tries to save up money just to treat you well take you out on dates and get that beautiful ring you always desire along with your wedding. He works overtime and comes home tired but he says it's all for his girl. It's all for you Kori so don't give up on him Kori." He tells me. I smiled with tears and nodded. I wiped my tears and thanked him and told him I'd stay the night at his place in his room and he nods and shows me to his room and I rest up for the night.

The next morning

I woke up and drove myself to school for the Friday morning. I went to my locker and everything and got my stuff for class. And then someone slammed me into my locker. "Aye what the fuck!!" I screamed. "Now Now Kori don't move and you won't get hurt." Kitten whispers in my ear. "Kitten what do you want?" I asked her. She then pulls me off the locker and pulls my hair and cuts it slightly to half as now I have short hair. "Ugh you bitch!!" I grabbed her neck and try to punch her but I was grabbed by Xavier and he took me to a closet. I screamed loud but no one was there. He locks the closet door. "Today you will not remember what ever happened to your relationship today you will be mine AGAIN!" He tells me. I then realized that I was handcuff and I looked at him in fear as he tries to put a necklace that brainwashes me into not knowing who my real boyfriend is except him on. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I screamed.
