Too cool for school

Beep Beep Beep Beep-----------------

Smashing the snooze button I get out of bed and it's 6:30. I got up and got on my black t-shirt with the Nightwing logo on it, my black leather jacket, black ripped jeans, and lastly my black boots. As I walked down into the kitchen Damian was already gone to go to Jump City High. I go to Gotham City High because I have been accepted there right after I finished junior year. Now I am in my senior year. It's tough but noting ever stop me before. Even when my parents died...I had to keep pushing myself to take care of me and Damian. Damian is my Lil bro but he's the biggest reason why I'm not alone. We talked to each other if we have problems with anything and we would listen to each other story. Those days are passing by. As a single young man I want to love someone who is right for me. I won't know she's the one until I find her. She has to look beautiful but real beauty is all I care about her. She doesn't need to hide her face and has to be the most smartest, and most honest person. There's a whole list in what I expected her to be like.

Finishing breakfast I grabbed my backpack and opened the door and it locks behind me. Well today is a new start. Let's do this. I opened my garage door and got on my red and black motorcycle with an 'R' on it. I placed my feet off the ground and on the edge of the motorcycle and started the engine and I drove out of the driveway and out to the streets of the neighborhood. When ever I drive around it makes me feel free and happy to see how the day will be. The starting of a new day is the best part of my day.

As I arrived at Gotham City High, the whole school looked weird but it's cool tho. Some of the girls find me cute and that's great. I know how this school works because this isn't the first time I've been here. I came to visit this school in middle school. When my parents were alive tho. It's been rough but I made it through and now this is my last year of high school. Classes I take are Advance Algebra, Drafting Arts, PE, Home ec or FACS, Chemistry, Reading, and Geography and History. I only have advance math because I passed my Algebra class in middle school. My favorite subject is Math and Reading and I make top reading scores. Work can't stop me because I have to work after school and so does Damian. We work at Wayne Enterprises. Our adoptive father is the boss of Wanye enterprises and we work every day just to have everything we need. So yeah that's our part time job. Soon I have to take over the company. I wonder to myself this....Will I be ready to take over?

The answer is not clear but solutions will come to me. If I believe I can then I can do it!

Just as I walked into the building things haven't changed here. I remember the Gotham signs, the mascot is the Furious Panthers...oh yeah and the floors are always shining. Moving in the hallway I hear a familiar voice approach me. "Richard is that you?" I turned around and a boy with red her and wore a kid flash logo on his shirt.

After trying to figure him out it was Wally. "Wally! Long time no see." I said. "Sup man. You haven't changed a bit." Wally and me had fistbump with each other. "So how's it been in the big city?" I asked him casually. "Ah it's been rough but it's been going well. How about you how's New York been treating you?" Wally says. "Eh it's okay if you know what I mean. I lived here all my life and it just feel normal." I stated, Wally smiles and sighs in amusement. "Heh I remember back in middle school how we used to have all the girls on us heh." Wally laughs a little about our past. It was funny but I recognized that Wally is the only one who hasn't changed. "So who else is here that we know Wally?" I asked. "Um..." Before Wally could say something a girl walks up to us. "Hey Wally. Who's the guy?" The girl asked. She looks so beautiful.

She's adorable. Wearing a long white top with a black skirt with pretty flower decorations. Have black slips on and her dangling jewelry. Wow! She's so darn cute.

"My name is Richard but people call me Dick." I replied holding her hand up to my lips and brushed a kiss on her knuckles. "Oh eh nice to meet you Dick. I'm Kori Star Anders but everyone calls me Star." Star says giggling. "Oh yeah Xavier, Roy, Garth, Vic, and Gar are here." Wally says. Wow looks like the team is back together again. This is a coincidence, right?

"Well I got to go! Bye boys!" Her voice is so soft. Man I wonder if she's taken. Hope not because I want her. She has caught my attention. I'm in love for the first time in years I'm falling for a beautiful girl like her. "Dick." Wally taps my shoulder. I can't even think straight she's making my mind crazy. "Dick." Wally says. *Sigh* "DICK!" Wally shouts. "Huh. What?!" I looked at him puzzled. "You were staring off into space. Your thinking about her aren't you? Anyways, she's dangerous. You don't want her Dick." He replies. (What her dangerous.) No fricken way she looks way too cute to be dangerous.

What does Wally mean he must be teasing me right? No way she looks like she's dangerous. He's lying I can see the little smirk on his face. But is she really dangerous.....
