November 1st

When they had all gotten home Indigo had went up to her room and took a nap. She didnt wake up till 4am, nobody else was wake... Or so she thought.

She walked down the stairs slowly, and quietly, trying not to wake anybody. She went to the kitchen to get some water when she saw someone coming down the stairs she really didn't worry about it to much, worse case scenario dream was still awake and was going to try to scare her. She looked to her left witch is were the stairs were to see Karl instead of dream, she smiled at him

"Why are you still awake?" She asked him

He shrugged "I couldn't sleep."

"Wanna do something?" She asked smugly

"Yes. Duh," He told her she laughed, she put her water down after drinking a sip then grabed his hand and pulled him to the sliding glass door witch lead them to the backyard "what are we doing?"

"Theres a ladder that leads to the roof." She explained

"Ohhhh." He said

They got to the roof and sat down and started talking about random things when there childhood came to topic

"Oh my god- okay so one time when me and Niki were little our parents always told us never answer the door when they were away at work, and it was usually never a problem because nobody came to our house because we lived in the middle of the woods," she told him with a laugh "but one day our mom ordered a package and didnt tell us so the mail man knocked on the door, and me and niki thought we were going to be kidnapped."

"What?" Karl asked them both laughing " how old were you guys?"

"Uhm.. I think like 9 or 10." She told him

Continued to talk about random things for around thirty minutes

"Do you have your phone on you?" Indigo asked him

"Uhmm," he said puting his hand in his pocket and pulled out his phone "yes."

"What time is it?" She qestioned

"4:42." He told her she nodded and put her head on his shoulder

A few moments went by of them just being silent and watching the sun rise, it was incredibly cheesy but yet they made it fun

"I know this is very Corny to tell you right now but I feel like if I dont tell you right now, I won't ever tell you." Karl said

"What's up?" She asked him taking her head of his shoulder and turturned to face him

"I really like you indigo." He told her

"Well yeah I would hope your one of my best friends." She said being absolutely clueless

"No not like..." He took a deep breath in "not like a friend indie.."

"Oh." She said not completely taking everything in "ohhhh."

He laughed at her stupidity "yeahhh." He said trailing off

"Well I mean I'm not going to lie I do too." She told him

"Wait actually?" He asked

"Yeah actually, I just didnt know how to tell you." She said

"I really want things to work out with you." Karl told her as she leaned into him because of the cold breeze

"Me to," she told him honestly "but I think we should take whatever this is slowly."

"Agreed."

Second day on the job still not getting payed and nova tried to kill me last night when I was at their house (also they changed their pronouns) so yeah anyways bye enjoy the rest of the story <3
