We got to the car, Dani giggling about our earlier song about giraffes. "I'll drive!" She hollered even though it was just the two of us. I nodded trying to open the door of the car.

"Open the damn thing!" I yelled earning a giggle from Dani because of my choice of words. Throwing myself into the car I put my feet up on the dash, not bothering with my seat belt. Dani got in and started up the car.

"Think I had a few to many to drink," she giggled, forgetting how to reverse the car. I busted out laughing, agreeing that I too had to much alcohol tonight. Dani drove the car onto the road and swayed the car playfully.

"Lets see how fast we can get this baby going!" I screamed and Dani sped up, still swaying the car and almost going off the road.

"Oops, to far!" we laughed swerving back to the other side of the road.

"Oh my goodness the tre-" I never finished my sentence. My head was thrown to the window, breaking the clear glass and painfully cutting me. Not having time to scream, my head was jerked to the other other side, causing Dani and I to collide. The car stopped spinning and I looked over at Dani, who had blood running down her nose. Suddenly another car hit my side and we went spinning once again, getting thrown into a ditch.

I stared out the window, my eyes not moving, not blinking. I wasn't able to turn my head or move. There was glass stuck to my skin and my hair blew in my face. I felt fresh, warm blood slide down my forehead. My mind screamed for oxygen, but my lungs weren't able to work. There were sirens blaring around me and people crowded around the car, looking to see the damage. Police men pushed them back yelling for them to get in their vehicles. I could hear Dani beside me screaming for help, but no one paid attention. My mind flashed to my mother and father, my little brother. I knew I would never see them again. Silently I told them I loved them.

One of the officers came to me and started yelling. I wanted him to be quiet because my head was already pounding in pain. "Miss, miss can you hear me," he yelled, "Ma'm if you can hear me I need you to show me some kind of signal. Can you blink your eyes for me?" Somehow, I was able to respond and my left eye twitched. "Okay, your going to be alright the ambulance is on its way. Stay with me alright. I'm going to be here the whole time, just listen to the sound of my voice." Attempting to concentrate on the officers voice, my mind went blank. Everything went blank and my heart slowly stopped pounding in my chest.
