Sienna woke up to the smell of something burning. Her eyebrows creased as she looked at the unfamiliar surroundings. However the suit jacket wrapped around her body reminded her of last night's events. She removed the blanket and followed the smell of burning down the stairs. Her eyes glided over the beautifully decorated house with a classy touch to it.
She followed the smell and reached the kitchen where she saw a very handsome male specimen struggling in front of the stove. She put a hand to her mouth to stop herself from laughing when she saw her boss trying to flip the pancake only if it could be called that. She cleared her throat to make her presence known. Tristan turned around with one side of his face coated with batter and some in his hair.
"I was just preparing breakfast. It's almost done." He said in his normal cold tone. Hearing that Sienna burst into laughter, as she pointed at the burning pancake. She slid down on the floor still laughing. Frowning upon her actions, Tristan quickly went across the room, took a hold of her arm and pulled her from the ground.
"What is so funny, Ms. Davis? Mind sharing with me?" Sienna who was laughing uncontrollably had finally sobered up a bit. She opened the camera of her phone and showed his face to him and burst into a fit again. Frowning he looked at her laughing as she wiped the tears forming in her eyes. After a while he couldn't help himself as half smile graced his handsome face.
Sienna smiled widely looking at him smile. He looked more attractive than he already is. She wondered if it was possible for him to look more good than he already is. He looked handsome even with the batter on his face. His dark eyes met hers causing her to avert her eyes. She hurriedly turned to the gas and shyly murmured, "I'll prepare breakfast. Why don't you go rest?"
"No. I've an important meeting. I'll head out in a bit. However, I'll take you out for dinner."
"I don't have clothes."
"Someone will bring it. Be ready by 6." Without a second glance, he turned around and walked up the stairs. Sienna sighed and yawned, " Thank God, I have a weekend." She ran towards the couch, jumped on it and in no time she was sleeping like a hog again.
On his way out, Tristan glanced at her sleeping form, one arm and leg dangling from the couch and her mouth slightly opened. His gaze fell on her lips and he quickly shook his head and stormed out of the house closing the door silently in order to not wake her up.
Sienna was sleeping soundly in the silent house when she woke up to the sound of someone calling her. She grumbled as she rubbed her eyes to see a man in his early sixties smiling at her gently.
"Good afternoon, madam. I'm Mr. Trevor and I take care of this beach house. "
"Oh, good afternoon. I'm Sienna and I'm Mr. Ellison's assistant." She quickly got off the couch and bowed slightly greeting him.
"Do you want me to bring lunch for you? New clothes has been sent to your room."
"Actually I'll go freshen up and then have my food downstairs."
Sienna turned to go towards the stairs and her eyes widened in astonishment as she saw the view outside. She realized she never really checked out the house nicely. one entire side of the house was of glass which overlooked the beautiful view of the beach and ocean.
"Wow." She exclaimed as she felt the calm of the ocean wash through her. The beach was empty there and the waves were crashing with each other making the water look more mesmerizing. She thought about the date tonight. Her heart was beating wildly thinking about the close proximity they'll be in. She wondered whether his feelings were serious or if this was all a game to him. Even if it was the latter, she was afraid she was too far gone to even stand up for herself.
In her mind she wished they could enjoy this beautiful scenery together.
She showered and wore the clothes brought for. Just when she was heading to have lunch her phone rang. It was Jasmine. She smiled and hit accept without any hesitation. Jasmine was the person she could count on always.
"Hey Jas. What's up?"
"You say me. When was the last time I even talked to you. Can we hang out today?"
"Actually I can't. I'm out of town for the weekend at Tristan's beach house."
"Do you guys have a thing going on?" Jasmine asked with a hint of jealousy in her tone. But, Sienna didn't notice it at all. In fact for her, she couldn't do anything wrong.
"No I don't think so. And I don't think anything is ever going to happen." She said sadly.
"Should I go there to accompany you?" She asked hopefully.
"No. I'm fine. Maybe we can meet next week?"
"Sure." Jasmine replied her voice a little low but with a hint of anger in it. Nevertheless, she cut the call.
In no time, the sun had set and Sienna decided to get ready for her date. She was nearly jumping in excitement and humming to some tune. She prepared to take a nice bath and used a scented body soap. She sat comfortably in the bathtub for a long time reading a book and sipping wine. After a while she came out of the bathroom, a robe wrapped around her body and a towel around her hair. She played music on the speaker and danced around the room. She couldn't remember the last time she was this happy.
The dress and undergarments had already been placed in her closet. Her eyes widened as she looked at the beautiful beaded high neck sequin sleeveless dress. She inspected it closely and smiled.
She put on some lotion on her body and painted her nails. Next she did her hair and makeup and then finally put on the dress. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled widely with her teeth out. She clicked a mirror selfie with her phone and then proceeded to wear the six inch pencil heels.
It was almost time and she only had to wait for Tristan to return. She walked down the stairs to the empty house. She had asked Mr. Barnes to leave early and spend time with his wife. She plopped on the couch waiting for half an hour but he still didn't turn up.
Now, she became anxious and called him but it went unattended. She called him a few times more but the result was same. After about an hour, her heart broke and moisture invaded her eyes. She compared her life to the beautiful sea waves. They were indeed beautiful but they were lonely. Tears cascaded down her cheeks but sleep didn't come to her rescue this time.
She looked like a grieving angel who realised that destiny or Mr. Ellison had tricked her again for the umpteenth time.
"Just how many times will you hurt me Tristan Ellison?"
Hey there!
How you doing? So yeah this was a fast update. Do tell me whether you like it or not? And what do you think of this Jasmine ordeal?Bye!
