Ep: Witches Before Wizards

Status: Unedited

A/N: (Y/N) has spent like,, TWO whole days in the demon realm and they've chosen nothing but violence.

---

When Luz woke up she was expecting two different outcomes to happen. Either, that the world she had just experienced was truly just a dream and now her and her sibling would be stuck in a personality draining summer camp.

Or...

Luz looked around her new room in an almost panic before her excitement gave way.

"It wasn't a dream!" She exclaimed, quickly getting out of her sleeping bag, "Good morning, terrifying fantasy world."

She picked up King, "Good morning, you little cutie‐pie." She says before repeatedly kissing King on the cheek.

"I am not your cutie‐pie!" He exclaims, struggling out of Luz's grip like a mouse trying to escape an especially cuddly boa constrictor.

"Yes, you are." Her voice still in baby-talk mode.

She gently puts King down, who flops onto his belly with a tired sigh.

"I know." He says defeatedly.

Luz walks over to your sleeping bag — with you still snoring away.

(It's not like you know you snore. Ignorance is bliss, as they say)

She tries to gently shake you awake, "(Y/N)!" She says in a very loud whisper.

She repeats this a few times before her shakes get more aggressive. Going from an almost gentle rock to a 'ship in a storm' shaking.

You let out a quiet snort before groggily saying, "Wha?"

Luz chuckles, "It's morning, (Y/N)! It's time to greet this new terrifying world with vigor!"

"Five more minutes..." You mutter, rolling out of Luz's grip and cuddling back into your cocoon.

Despite that, Luz's excitement doesn't fade one bit.

"Hahaha, okay... Meet you at breakfast then." She kisses you on the head, "I'm about to become a full fledged witch apprentice!" She exclaims with a quiet 'squee' at the end.

"M'kay..."

Eda wasn't nearly awake enough to deal with Luz. That's not to say she disliked Luz, she barely knew her! But, right now, when she hadn't even had a full cup of apple blood! — and hearing her ramble about something or other just made her feel more tired.

And — hey, wasn't there supposed to be another one?

"Teach me some spells. When do I get a magic staff? Was I supposed to bring my own runes? Do you have a dangerous magical quest for me?!" Luz excitably asked, getting into Eda's personal space.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down, kid. Being a witch doesn't happen overnight." Eda took another slow sip of her drink before continuing, "Where's the other one?"

"You mean (Y/N)?"

"Yeah, whats-their-face." Eda confirmed.

"Oh, they're—" Out of the corner of Eda's eye, she could see the fore-mentioned kid trudging down the stairs, eyes not even fully opened, "—Right there!" Exclaimed Luz
