Miniforce Black Opal; Episode Two: A Loch Ness Mess

Part One: Who's Up For The Lake?

   "Hey guys, ready to go to the fishing lake?"
   Asked Suzy as she grabbed her bag of snacks and her fishing pole, then stuffed it into her backpack.

"Yeah!"
   Everyone else exclaimed.

   It was at least 8:00 in the morning, just enough time to get a spot on the banks of the lake. Suzy packed her phone in her backpack, and thats when the door opened ajar. It was Suzy's mother, and she was holding some kind of manual in her hands.

"Suzy, guess what"
   Said Suzy's mother.

"What is it Mom?"
   Asked Suzy back, with a curious expression on her face.

"Today, I'm going to let you drive the car this time. Or at least try to, because I want you to try be advanced. By letting you take control of the car."

"WHAT!?"
   The animals yelled in surprise all at once.

"Hey, you can't let Suzy drive! She'll probably be worse than Uncle Doori!"
   Volt exclaimed. But he shouldn't have said that, because thats when Suzy turned red in anger.

"I am NOT ANYTHING LIKE UNCLE DOORI!!!"
   Exploded Suzy, it made everyone flinch, even her mother.

   Suzy grabbed Volt's ear and gradually lifted him up. Volt was starting to complain in fright, flailing everywhere like crazy. Suzy lifted him up at her eye level. Then she raised her fist and... PUNCH. Volt literally broke a hole in the roof, and flew sky high up to the clouds. Because of that, a sunlight beam came into the room from... the hole that Volt left.

"Volt, you little.."
   Suzy muttered as she peered at the hole in the roof.

   Everyone went wide eyed. They all looked at the hole in the roof, then to Suzy, and back.

"Suzy, what was that for?"
   Suzy's mother asked in disbelief as she looked at the hole in the ceiling.

"Oh, don't worry Mom this is all normal. Right guys?"
   Suzy impatiently said. She turned around and glared at all of them.

"Yeah!"
   The animals said in a panic. Mostly because they knew what Suzy would've done if they said the opposite.

"Well, ok. Except that you are going to have to pay for the roof,"
   Said her Mother.
"But heres the driving manual. I'll be watching you in the passenger seat. I have already dropped off Louie to school, so we're good to go." Suzy's mother sighed and added, "I'll go prepare the bills for the roof."

   She passes the manual to Suzy, then walks out of her room. Suzy opens the manual and starts reading, right when Volt had finally came back and opened the window to get in. He mumbled something faint, then went to stand beside everyone else.

With her eyes still on the book, Suzy shouted excitedly at them, "Ok guys, we're off to the lake!"

   Isla was walking down the hall to the laboratory, to check if the obedience potion had its final ingredient ready. She walked to the end of the hall and turned a corner and saw Freya and Liam walking in the other direction.

"Hey Isla!"
   Liam said as he noticed her. She gave an affectionate smile back.

   But then something had flashed in Freya's eyes as she did. Was it anger? Jealousy? ... Sadness? Isla tried to show no feelings when she looked at Freya. She knew very well that both of them were crushing on the same guy. But luckily Isla did not, for any reason, want to fight with Freya. It wasn't because she was afraid of her, but because she kinda respected the girl. Isla even thought Liam would be better off with her.

"Hey Liam! Hi Freya,"
   She tried to say kindly. But instead of something else like happiness in Freya's eyes, the same thing flashed. AGAIN. It was so FRUSTRATING!

   What emotion was that? What was she thinking? Does she think I'm a threat to her and Liam? Or did she think the opposite thing I did, that he would be better off with me instead of her?
   Isla's head gradually flew away, and that's when she realized that Liam was talking.

"-and it was crazy! Those miniforce dudes, and dudette, were a lot more powerful than we thought! Thats why I wanted to ask you if you want to sneak away tonight, so all three of us can eat under a tree or something and let all our worries fly away!"

"Uh, sure. I could try to stall General Analyn while you guys get away. Then I'll come right after,"

"Ok, see you after our next mission!"
   Liam called out, as they kept walking down the hall.

   What mission? Were they planning to try invade the city again? Gosh, I wish I was listening. But if they were, I could sneak into the city with them, and try to get a good look at these "mini pests," Analyn had called them.
   And maybe, I could form an alliance with them. And we could finally stop "General Paranoid" from attacking all life, and maybe end her once and for all.
