i'm sitting alone on one of the table here in the empty cafeteria. i woke up really early today, i couldn't complete my 8 hours of sleep i was only able to sleep for five hours.

i always make sure that i get enough of sleep because i'm a really self conscious person, pimples aren't my friends just like other people. whenever i sleep late and i already feel that there are tiny bumps on my face that's when i decide to sleep early again.

shaking my head, i focused on finishing my breakfast. not wanting other students to see me eating here.

speaking of students, a loud voice echoed inside the capacious cafeteria. it was them the group of seven new students, looking around what to buy in the food stalls. i'm sitting here at the very end high key wishing for them not to notice me but of course one of them just had to make eye contact with me.

"y/n!" sunoo? waved at me from the other end, gaining the attention of the other guys around him.

i still haven't finished my food but i already want to go because they are making their way towards me. i gulped down my soda and picked up my untouched burger before standing up but a voice stopped me from walking away.

"hey, y/n. are the seats free?" jake, i think, asked politely, showing me a kind smile.

"do you see other people sitting next to her hyung? no right?" i turned to the guy standing beside heeseung? it was ni-ki, the awkward guy while introducing yesterday, stated the obvious.

i'm having a feeling that someone is looking at me so i turned around and saw the jungwon guy. he locked eyes with my now dark brown eyes due to the contact lens that i'm wearing. somehow his eyes looks familiar.

"why are you looking?" jungwon coldly asked with his right eyebrow slightly raised.

i quickly shook my head and picked up my bag from my seat and was about to walk out of the place but a hand snatched my arm.

when i turned around, i saw sunoo pouting "can you stay with us? you still haven't eaten your burger, why not finish it here?"

he...want me...to stay here with...them? is he being for real?

sunoo waved his hands in front of my face making me blink a couple of times. "sunoo, don't force her" the guy named sunghoon i guess, took sunoo's hand that's still holding on my arm and gently removed my arm from sunoo's grip.

"but sunghoon hyung, i just want to be friends with her" sunoo sat down at the seat in front of me and crossed his arms whilst pouting sadly. oh gosh, why is he so cute? and did he just said that he wants to be friends with me?

"friends with her? hyung, didn't you hear the other students talking about her? she doesn't talk and you want to be friends with a mute now?" jungwon rolled his eyes at his hyung that is now glaring at him.

why is he so grumpy? is he on his red day?

"if she's mute then why is she in school? mute people are deaf too" the jay guy came in between jungwon and sunoo, he turned to me and smiled "did you hear what i said?" he asked, i nodded my head and jay gave them the 'see' look.

heeseung cleared his throat making us all turned to him, "maybe she just doesn't want to talk. let sunoo be friends with her if he wants"
