"there's a robbery at the bank near your school" hyemi spoke at the other line. "we'll just see you there"

i ended the call and went up to my room. opening my walk in closet, i entered and walked inside. i put on my bulletproof vest under my black oversized hoodie and black leggings, putting on my protective gloves and head wear. i picked up my black shoes and wore it. i went out of my closet not even bothering to wear contact lens.

at first, i'm really curious to why do we need to wear those protective gears but my grandma said that it's best to wear those for safety.

another night of killing people, bad people.

sighing, i left my house empty handed and walked towards the bank near the school just like what hyemi told me.

hyemi is hyerim's twin but she don't go to the same school as us that explains why we don't see each other as often as i see hyerim. i only see hyemi and my other cousins whenever I visit our forest.

i wore my hood over my head and silently entered the bank at the back door and immediately saw a guy holding a bag that wasn't zipped properly, it's a bag of money.

when he noticed me he placed his gun in front of me but before he can even pull the trigger, he met my eyes "die" and in just a snap the guy is already lying dead in front of me.

"i need potion" i said as i saw minhee, my other cousin, standing a little far from me.

she took out something from the pocket of her pants and threw it. i perfectly catched the small bottle that is smaller than my palm and promptly opened the lid before drinking it. this potion will help me and the other witches to be invisible from other people's eyes and from the cctv cameras.

i already killed 5 people, there are a lot of them in the bank and the other witches who came earlier than me already killed the other thieves. gosh, stupid thieves they shouldn't have entered all at once.

i'm standing by the back door now, when hyerim said that the bank is now clear. i'm about to leave the bank but a guy wearing all black with head gear hurriedly went inside, though he can't see me he can surely touch me so i swiftly moved to the side not wanting him to accidentally touch me.

he looked around the place, seeing a lot of men lying on the floor lifeless. "the people of 6S are already dead" he said through the earpiece that he is wearing.

i placed my hand in my mouth when the guy turned to where i am standing, his orbs that are kind of familiar met my ash gray eyes though he can't really see me because of the potion.

"help, there's a guy at the back door and the potion is about to lose its effect" the potion that minhee gave me can only last for 50 minutes, if i stay here beside this guy for more minutes he might end up seeing me.

there's a loud thud coming from the outside, making this guy run outside. a sigh of relief escaped my lips and i took that opportunity to run out of the bank.

the potion lose its effect when i'm already standing in front of a convenience store a few meters away from my school. that was close.

exhausted from running, i opened the door of the convenience store and bought a chocolate flavored ice cream and went home.

i'm lying down on my cozy bed when my phone rang, grabbing it on my nightstand i looked at the caller before answering.

"you know you can just talk to me in your mind, right?" i asked hyerim who called.

"yeah but this is how normal people call each other"

"you're not normal"

"i don't care, anyways do you know who those guys are?" she asked referring to the guys that suddenly bursted in the bank, one of them is the guy i had locked eyes with though he didn't see me.

i nibbled my bottom lip before answering, "those are the mafias. grandma told me that there are two group of mafias, the good one which is the en group while the bad one is the 6s group"

hyerim just became a part of the witches who help the en group mafias secretly in killing people this year and she's just new. she's already a fully grown witch when she was 16 but only joined the 'wm' which means witch mafias, that minhee called ourselves—it's i don't know cringey?—that's why hyerim still don't know a lot of things about the mafias.

"why are we helping the en group again?" hyerim confusingly asked.

"i actually don't know. every time i ask grandma, the only thing she say is that she will only tell me if i find out who's the leader of the en group. she's weird for saying that actually, i mean why would i need to find out who are those en mafias especially their leader" come to think of it, i already saw one of them.

that guy's eyes is so mesmerizing, i would be lying if i say i don't want to see those eyes again. it looks familiar, though.

"but you said there's a guy at the back door earlier and you didn't kill him was that one of the mafias?" she said but the last part sounds like a question.

"yeah, I didn't kill him because i know he's one of the en mafias. it's my first time seeing one of them for a year of being part of wm. i recognized him as one because he talked to someone in his earpiece, i didn't see his earpiece but grandma said that if the mafias talked alone they're not literally talking alone they're talking to someone through their earpiece. And the guy said something like, the people of 6s are already dead" i lay down on my stomach while waiting for hyerim's answer.

"i wish i could go to our missions empty handed just like you. you looked cool earlier" by the sound of her voice i can say that she's pouting on the other line when she said those.

i scoffed, "there's nothing cool about killing"

"bad people is what we are killing" she retorted emphasizing the word bad to me.

"whatever, it's already late. good night" i ended the call and placed my phone back on the nightstand.

what a day. i rolled and tossed around the bed, momentarily feeling my eyelids getting heavy and soon enough the sleepiness i've been waiting took in me.
