My new friend

4 classes , a long tiring morning and then finally its lunchbreak. Dash and Ella head towards the canteen where they found Nethaniel waiting for his sister. As soon as he spots Dash ,his expression changes. Dash hesitantly moved towards Nethaniel ready to introduce himself.

Dash- Hi , I am-

Nethaniel- Elle, who's he?

Ella- Um he's a new friend of mine.His name's-

Nethaniel- I think I told you something at the beginning of the semester. Is your brain unable to recall it?

Ella- (sighs) I remember it, but i can't just stay alone these 5 hours. I need someone, even you and Steen are seniors. Why do you want me to stay isolated?

Nethaniel- Its for a reson Elle, I would let you know when the time comes.

Ella- I am hearing this same stuff from 3 years brother. Where's Steen ? I ll only talk to her.

Nethaniel- Fine. She must be coming , she was busy.

As soon as Nethaniel finishes, there came Steen with a satisfactory smile plastered on her face.

Steens- Elle ,honey ;I missed you.

Ella- I missed you too Steen.

Steen- What happened here, Why's your brother like this?

Nethaniel- I ain't like anything Steen.

Steen- (scoffs) Oh please Net , you know i can read you.

Nethaniel- Fine , just ask this girl here.

Dash standing still, finally decided to speak ,

Dash- May I bring us food? You all must be tired . Also I would leave you alone for a bit. I think you 3 might want to discuss something .

Without thinking twice, Dash went to fetch food for the them and to give them a little privacy. Being a understanding guy he assumed it there must be something important.

Steens- Oh who's this guy? He seems sweet.

Nethaniel- Everyone seems sweet to you. Isn't it? (agitated)

Steens- Calm down Net, Atleast let me talk for once.

Nethaniel- Urgh let me just get some fresh air.

With this , He bashed out the canteen.

Steens- Tell me what's the matter?

She asked Ella in her usual polite way, waiting for her to explain.

Ella- Its just that guy. He's Dash. I met him today when you were entering the campus . He was curious about you both just like anyone would be. So i told him about you and brother. And then we introduced each oher. I felt safe with him , the same way as i feel with you and i asked him to be my friend and he gladly accepted it. I wanted him to meet brother. But he refused, He reminded me What he told me in the beginning of the semester.

Steen- That you shouldn't have friends. Its not safe.

Ella- Yes but how can i be alone , everyone wants to be friends with me just beacuse I am popular and I am the sister of Nethaniel Cavers. Dash, he is different. He doesn't care about my popularity or my status. He's like a true friend.

Ella- You both are bestfriends. You always have each other's back. Brother's rude to everyone but is always soft for you. He cares for you.
I also need a friend.

Steen- Hey honey, its fine .. i understand; there are many who approach me for friendship or for a relation, but i do always deny them beacuse i olny want your brother by my side. Popularity doesn't fullfill you. OK?

Steen- I ll talk to net , ok? Don't be sad after all you have Steens Gier in your team.

Ella- (chuckles) I love you.

Steen- I love you 3000.( smiles brightly)
