The terrace

Standing on the terrace watching the sky Nethaniel kept on thinking about his sister's safety, when he soon felt two arms wrapping around his waist. He knew it was her.

Nethaniel- What do you think now?

Steens- Net, its okay she feels safe with him. She can't just stay alone always, we can't give her the company that a friend could.

Nethaniel- But what if he's not what we think he is?

Steens- You need to stop suspecting everyone Net.

Nethaniel- You don't understand,  what if he only wants her for fame? just like the others.

Steens- Ella doesn't think this.

Nethaniel- She's just a kid. She doesn't know what's right for her.

Steens- She can take her own decisions. Do you want her to be surrounded by loneliness? And we both were friends from the day we were born.

Nethaniel- Are you sure about this?

Steen- You think Dash, could be a vampire?????

Nethaniel- Stop reading my mind Steen.

Steen - How can he be one of us?

Nethaniel- Why not? What if he too is one of us?

Steen- (sigh) Stop being so stubborn, We are the only superior family in here.. Honestly I too am confused about him. Its not easy to trust someone and the fact that i can't read his mind makes it worse.

Nethaniel- You can't read Dash's mind?(shocked)

Steen- No;but maybe it's beacuse he's an under 18 human. I mean i can't read underage human minds. Look Net i too care about Ella. I too love her equally and i understand that for us each human can be a threat..but Ella only has 2 years left , after that she'll be like us. Let her gather all the happy memories she could .

Nethaniel- Why can't I deny you?

Steen- Its beacuse you love me.

Nethaniel- A lot.

He pulled Steen into a tight hug. How beautiful it was for them..lost in each other's eyes unaware , someone was keeping his eyes on them.

Nethaniel- Who's there?

Looking out for someone , he knew something wasn't right.

Steen- What happened?( worried)

Nethaniel- I sensed someone's presence.

Steen- No one comes here Net. Let's go.

She said pulling Nathaniel with her.

Steen- Come or i ll bite you!

Nethaniel- You think you can?

He said smirking , showing his well built arms capable of crushing a stone.

Steen- (scoffs) I too am powerful, more than you. Now lets go..please.

She finally pulled Net , dragging him down to the canteen and net, smiling all the way at her cuteness.
