The Undiscovered Past

Dash sneakily made his way to the Giere's Mansion, but to his surprise he found Steen's parents.

Eden Giere- Oh, my boy? You didn't go with the kids for vacation?

Dash- Uh-uh uhm no, had some work.

Mary- Oh Steen, told us that they were on vacation.

Dash- Steen?

Mary panicked.

Mary- Umm yes--- she uhm called us.

Dash- Oh.

Dash couldn't get it, how could Steen call her parents?

Mary- Come child you must've been hungry. Let's eat. I hope you'll like my cooking.

Dash felt warm inside his heart. He thought ,How lucky their children would be?

Mary brought the tray but slipped on the carpet and accidentally spilled it on Dash.

Mary- oh Oh, I am so sorry Dash. I-I- slipped---

Dash- Its okay, don't be sorry.

Eden- Take it off boy, or you'll have to take a bath. Must've been dirty.

Dash took of his shirt in a go.

Mary sensed something familiar, she smelled it further and.........

Mary- You're a vampire? Dash, child

Dash- W-What? No I----

Mary caressed her his cheek with her soft palms.

Mary- Its okay, my boy.

Eden- Don't fear us, boy. We'll not harm you.

Dash knew they wouldn't but was confused.

Dash- No, I don't fear you. Its just---how did you get it?

Mary- I could smell it. (smile).

Mary- Who did this to you little one? You're so young.(teary eyes)

Dash- Oh aunty, Don't be sad, don't cry. I wasn't bitten, I just turned into this a night.

Eden- You're parents were a Vampire? They must've been. You're a blessing of god, you're a furit of prayers. Vampires can't reproduce, it takes them a lot of time and prayers and rituals to get a child of their own. We did it for Steen and----

Dash- I told you, I don't know them. They left us.

Eden- I am sorry ,Don't worry child. We'll be with you.

Dash- You shouldn't be this good to me.(sad chuckle).

Marry- You feel different.

And it went off......like this.

Mary- Dash child can you help me?

Dash- Sure.

Mary- You young ones are really active and powerful.

Dash- (smile).

Mary- I could do this but.....I don't go in there.

Dash- Oh umm why?

Mary- There's a reason child. There must be a book of Eden, just please bring it.

Dash went in a room and found a book named "Human: A Mystery", and chuckled, was returning when a frame caught his attention. He picked it up. His hands trembled, it fell and broke into pieces. He ran out of the room and hurriedly went to Eden and Marry.

Dash- Who's tha-t boy in th-e fram-e?

Mary- The one in the room?

Dash- Yes.

Eden- He's our child. The one which we lost.

Dash- H-How?

Marry-

We were really a happy family, that day we went to see off Net's parents, left back Steen and our boy at home. When we returned, we found our house a total mess. We found Steen, scared in a corner. When we asked, she told that a woman came and took our boy away. She tried her best to protect him, but what could a 3 year old do?(sad chuckle). It was a witch. We vampires never had it with witches, but we never thought that they would do this? She took him away, had a chance that day. We tried our best to find him but never succeeded. Those magical dreadful creatures!(crying)

Eden- (sigh) we still try to find him. He was just one, when she took him away. it took us 15 years to that freaking witch. Nethaniel did it, with the help of his father. He found her. She was alone, he asked her about him, gave her many chances. She told him, that she manipulated our child in such a way that he hates us and would never come back to us. Net killed her, she deserved it. She was going to kill our boy to end my lineage. We tried our best to find out and we still do but looks like destiny has something else for us. Steen loved him a lot, more than herslef. She's strong but her heart is really sensitive. She's the kindest you'll ever meet. She never shows off her care, but one can really see it She insisted us to keep his room in the same way for eighteen years.His absence effects her a lot.Everyday she goes , cleans it, manages it in the hope that one day he would return and live in that room. She tries everyday, just to get her brother back.

Eden wipes his tears.

Marry goes to him and hugs him.

Marry- I never go in that room, beacuse it makes me feel empty, makes me feel that a part of me is away. Dash, child please don't tell it to anyone.

Dash stumbles, and runs out of the house.
