Time skip – Next week: a Wednesday

Everly:

Everly walked with Artemis, who had fallen back into depression after what had happened at the party. Declan and Artemis had ignored each other, they were both mad at each other. It was last period an Artemis and Everly made it to their class and sat down. Artemis stared at the ground thinking. Everly wanted to tell Declan off, but he wouldn't listen to any of them. Everyone else came into class and started talking, Artemis's eyes widened as she listened to everyone talk, she realised everyone's ignorance to the world's dysfunction. And her brain couldn't handle it she put her hands over her eyes and shut her eyes trying to block the noise out.

Their class finished and Artemis and Everly left, they walked through the hallways trying to make it out of school. Artemis noticed Declan heading in their direction, she stopped but then immediately pushed pass him. Declan watched her move pass and looked at Everly, he rolled his eyes.

"Declan apologize to her for god sakes," Everly said.

"Why should I she was ignorant to my feelings, and she kissed Jack."

"She didn't kiss Jack, he kissed her to get back at you for Emma kissing you at that party."

Declan froze and remembered that Emma did kiss him, "oh."

"you're an idiot."

Everly walked away.

Artemis:

Artemis sat in her bedroom staring at the ceiling.

"My existence really is pointless," She whispered.

Her wrist stung as blood trickled from them onto her sheets, she squinted in pain. Her eyes fluttered as she watched her ceiling fans blade flip by her eyesight. She felt lighter and smiled.

"I should've told him that I loved him sooner, maybe he'll find someone better and I can finally find some peace," she said to herself.

Her eyes fluttered shut, she faintly heard someone open her door.

"Artemis!" they screamed.

"Artemis!"

Artemis awoke in a hospital, her parents sat beside her. Her mother looked up to see her awake, joy sparked in her eye, and she lunged at her daughter.

"Leonia, be careful with her, "her father gently said to his wife.

"Oh, Artemis I'm so sorry you feel this way about life, I'm so sorry I failed you."

Artemis's eyes watered, "Mumma, I'm so sorry I'm the reason Apollo's dead."

Artemis's dad's eyes widened, and he lunged at his wife and daughter.

"you're not the reason he's dead, honey he loved you all of us with his whole heart," he hugged them.

Artemis bawled, "thank you so much for being such amazing parents."

The family hugged each other while crying.
