There was a reason to why you were in such a foul mood.
For the first night in a long time, you had a dreamless sleep.
That is until some asshole decided that it was a good idea to use a very loud drill in the apartment next to you.
The events from the last couple of days had you on edge and today you had woken up with a scowl on your face.
Grumbling threats to no one in particular, you threw your legs over the edge of the bed and gave the wall a glare.
Getting up with clenched fists, lightly stomping towards the closet and grabbing the first set of clothes you could find.

The noise didn't end and now you sit with a cup of coffee and a small twitch in your eye each time the obnoxious sound finds a new location of the thin wall separating you from your neighbors.
In an attempt to calm your nerves, you take a deep breath and exhale slowly.
It works just a tiny bit, but not much.
Your phone dings, alerting you of a message and you lazily pick it up with a small eye roll.
You don't care that you are being snappy, it was your right since the devil machine abruptly ended your slumber.
You poke the inside of your cheek with your tongue as you read the text.

Morning, I'll be over soon. We need to discuss what to do, Yujin is going to look around for a bit and meet up with us later.
You don't bother to reply, in this mood the possibility that you say something stupid is high.
He will be here soon anyway.
You really don't feel like dealing with this soulmate business today.
You know it is important to find the one you bonded with, but you can't help feeling anxious.
A frown takes over your features as you think of what could happen.
Why would you even be accepted?
The problems and emotional baggage you come with will surely be too much right?

The voice in your head gets interrupted by the door unlocking and opening.
You already know who it is thanks to the text from before.
As if on cue, Juri walks in with a smile until the horrendous drilling starts, making the poor guy almost drop the bag he's holding.
"Fucking shit, who said it was okay to start drilling this early in the morning?"
He asks, nose scrunched in annoyance.
"They have been going at it all morning, woke me up."
You grumble and take a sip of your coffee, face showing your distaste as you put the offending cup down.
It had gotten cold, great.
"That should be illegal, how is one supposed to sleep with that going on?"
Juri say as he sits down and put the bag on the table.
You only shrug as an answer and move to pour out the remnants of your coffee in the sink.
You hear Juri behind you as he takes out the things he brought and places them on the table.
You turn around and take your seat as you look over the items.
Tiny chocolate muffins mixed with some mini lemon muffins and two cups of what seems to be lattès.
Any remains of your morning bitterness evaporates as your mouth starts to water.
"Luckily I got a feeling to buy something sweet as breakfast. " Juri say with a smile dancing on his lips.
"Thank you!" you exclaimed with enthusiasm as you pick up a mini muffin and bite in the sweetness, the little pieces of chocolate melting on your tongue.
Juri can only chuckle as you roll your eyes and hums in appreciation.
As you munch happily, Juri take a quick look at his phone.
After gulping down a few muffins you finally feel ready to talk.
