"Lux there are some people here to see you." Yelled her current foster mom.

Lux never gets visitors and was greatly confused to hear that. She walked down the stairs to see two men sitting on the couch. One had brown hair and matching brown eyes. He was a few inched taller than the blond man with beautiful green eyes standing next to him. She walked over to where they were sitting.

"Hi Lux, my name is mark and this is Lucas." Said the brown haired man.

"Hello." She replied.

The man named Lucas reached out to shake her hand but all she did was stare at him. He eventually dropped his hand.

"We are from the foster care system." Explained Mark

"We came to tell you we are transferring you to america." Said Lucas.

All Lux could do was stare at them. She didn't want to go to america. She liked it here in England. But she knew she could not disobey what the system told her she was to do. They told her she was leaving the next day and was to pack her things. She nodded and walked back upstairs to the room she shared with her foster sister.

Lux sat on her bed and started folding her clothes and putting them in her bag. She also put the only items she owned in the bag as well. She had three books that she had read many times and a small stuffed rabbit. When she had finished packing she fell asleep for the night.

She was woken up to her foster sister shaking her. Lux sat up and stretched. She grabbed he'd bag and went down stairs and sat on the couch. She put her bag down and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. For a ten year old she was very good at cooking. She made herself an egg sandwich and sat at the table. She ate it slowly trying not to seem nervous. She had never been on a plane and wasnt looking forward to it.

A few hours passed by and the two men who came the day before started knocking on the door. She opened it and let them come inside. After a half an hour of the family hugging her and saying goodbye she grabbed her bag and went out to the car.

She looked out the window and watched the countryside go by.
