It's been two weeks since he came to me. I opened my door to find him laying next to it severely wounded. He was covered in burn marks, they were really bad. I would have asked him what had happened to him, but... he hasn't woken up... that's what bothers me the most. His Wounds are mostly healed, but he keeps getting thinner. I can only hope he'll wake up soon.

I had finished changing the  bandages  on him for the day, so i figured I leave him be. His condition was getting better so there was no reason for me to stay there with him. But that wasn't what I ended up doing. I sat there starring at him. The way the moonlight hit him, he look amazing. the way his hair laid over his eyes, it was so elegant yet mysterious. And the way his lips... they looked so, desirable. I don't know how long I was there for, but it must have been a long time. Because the moon was no longer there illuminating him by the time I was able to take my eyes away from him.i figured that he wouldn't want some stranger staring at him, so I got up, toke one more look at him, and walked out of the room. I couldn't hold back my urge, so I got out my Sketchbook and sketched him from memory. It wasn't as good as the real thing but I'd have to deal with it.

I decided to look through my arsenal of books for something that may help me understand why he hadn't shown any sign of waking yet. 2 Hours went by, then another 4. But the only thing I found were the things I already knew. I didn't understand why I couldn't find anything about his condition. But I continued to search even though I knew it wouldn't help. I felt as if I needed to. Another 2 hours went by, but still couldn't find anything. So feeling Defeated I decided to sleep. But I never made it to my room, the floor ended up catching my fall, and not very well if I might add. I figured it wasn't worth the effort to walk across the room. So there i slept.

I woke up and I was still on the floor. I was not carried off to bed by a handsome man, nor was I even given a blanket. But that's how life is. I laid there and pondered the question to life. I mean I've been alive long enough, I should have known the answer to it, but I didn't. The only thing I know is that life isn't just handed down to you, you are not told why you live. You're thrown out there to find what it is. But knowing that life is short why do humans look so happy? they work, get a family, grow old and die. The cycle repeats it's self time and time again, so why? Humans are the one organism that I may never understand.

I did end up getting off the floor, coffee was needed. I suppose that was the only reason to why I got up. Into the kitchen i went, and turned on my coffee maker. I was content on the sound of the machine, the sizzle as it turned on. The smell was most delightful, no matter how old I get, the smell will never get old. I smile to myself with the thoughts of old. I grabbed an apple off my table and figured I should check on Hans. So I walked in and hold and behold, he was still unconscious. So much for my excitement. But figured I'd watch him for any sign of movement. So I put my apple down and sat next to the bed. I was still trying to find out what may have happened to him. But before I could even start thinking about may have  happened, the coffee marker went off. And then all that on my mind was coffee, so I got up and left to get some coffee.

The figure lays under the gold and black covers. His eyes flutter open, he doesn't worry about where he is. He can smell her all over the room, her room. He shakily gets up from where he was laying and rests on one of his arms. The first thing he noticed was the stacks of books all over the room, most of them have mugs on them. He never would have thought she was this messy of a person,  a slight smile comes upon his lips. Makes him think about how messy her mind could be. His arm is twitching at this point, he still wasn't completely healed yet. He was losing consciousness again. So he lowered himself back down and turned over to a more comfortable position, when he saw it, an apple as golden as the harvest moon. He couldn't help it, he reached over and grabbed the apple. Admiring how beautiful it was. It was the same as her eyes..

The sadness washed over me when i realized that I had no mugs left in my cabinet. Perfectly good coffee, and no mugs... Always the main sadness in my life. And the thing is, none of my dirty mugs are on the sink. They are spread throughout my house, everywhere, but my kitchen. I sighed as i realized I would have to search for one, and clean it. So I started in the study, after about 10 minutes of searching behind my books I found one, it was high-up on a shelf. How I manged to do that is begone me, but hey, I found a mug. The coffee was calling my name very loudly at that point. So to the kitchen I went, Got my coffee, put some cinnamon in it and I was on my way. Though truth be told, I wasn't going anywhere, I'm not a big fan of going out.  I was going to go back to my study when i remembered I hadn't eaten and I had left  my apple in my room, or in this case, my Ex-room. I was close so i figured I should  go get it before i lose it forever. It has happened before and it will happen again. Hopefully not today. But hey, it seems like nothing is going good lately.

***** Note (real fact): Swapping the cream and sugar with a teaspoon of cinnamon could save up to 70 calories per cup. One study found just half a teaspoon of cinnamon per day can significantly reduce blood sugar levels, Triglycerides, LDL Cholesterol, and total cholesterol levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Cinnamon can also slow the speed at which the stomach empties following a meal. It can also strengthen the immune system. Cinnamon is one of the greatest super foods, and it's easy to get.
