(Helga POV)
This was devastating,Watching the one you love cry out in pain, hurts you just as bad. It was too painful for him to explain it to me. I wrap my arms around him. I want him to know that, it was okay, that he is safe. Then suddenly I felt his arms wrap around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
My heart won't stop pounding from his touch, my hands tremble too, I can't stop them. Oh why ,Arnold, must you do this to me?
"Thank you Helga." He whispers it my ear. His whisper made my ears hot, made chills go down my spine, and my face blush like crazy. I pull back from him gently, looking in his eyes, they show joy, happiness. Their emerald green shows off his glow. He shows off that perfect smile, now he's happy again.
"You're happy again, that makes my happy Arnold." I said returning the smile.
"Oh Helga you don't need to cry for me too." He said. But I didn't notice that I was crying. He gently took his thumb and in the cutest way pushes away the falling tears. My heart would not stop pounding. His face was inches way from mine, and I could feel his breath.
"Hey Arnold. Do you mind if Phoebes sits with me-"
We both jumped in surprise of Gerald voice. I quickly moved away looking at the window next to me. I feel my face getting hot in embarrassment. And I'm sure Arnold feels the same.
"Did I interrupt something?" He asked with a smirk.
"N-no! Nothing at all." I stuttered.
"Well, Helga are you okay with Phoebe sitting with me when we get on the plan?" Gerald asked. I looked up at him, then looked over at Arnold. He smiled in agreement, I guess we're sitting on the plan together.
"Sure Gerald. I'm sure Phoebe would like that."
"Awesome! Thanks Helga you're the best." He said hugging me. Haa
"You don't mind if we sit together on the plane?" I turned to Arnold.
"I like that." He smiled.
Man I can never get over that gorgeous smile of his. This is going to be a interesting trip.

30 minutes in we arrived at the airport. It was a pain just getting our tickets together, going through Security, metal detectors, scanning, unloading and reloading our carry-on bags. Man was I tired, luckily we had a hour before we board. Arnold, Gerald, Phoebes, and I agreed to stop by a cafe to relax. Olga said she will call me when its to go back over. We get to the cafe and took a seat. I went up to get something to eat.
"Helga, I'll get you something. What would you like?" Arnold asked. Ohh he's being such a gentleman, I can't stand it.
"No Arnold. You don't need to do that I can get it my self."
"I know I don't have to but I want to." He said as he was getting out his wallet.
"That's really sweet, but I didn't do anything for you." I said
"You have." He said smiling
"Okay fine. You can buy it." I finally gave in.
"Hmm. I know what you want. The chocolate gummy bears. You loved these when we were back in school." He said handing them to me. This was really surprising to me.
"I didn't know you remembered." I said confusingly
"Of course I remember, the day we first met you shared some with me." He said as he was paying for the food.
Now that I think about it, I remember the day when we first meet. That was a day I could never forget.

FLASHBACK begins:
I was only 6 years old. That was the day I started my first day of kindergarten. I wore my light pink jumper, my hair in pink tails, topped it all off with my pink bow. I was ready to see some of my friends I made in pre-K. I get downstairs to find my father, and my mother surrounding Olga while she played the piano. They were cheering, hugging her, saying things like "honey you are incredible", or "you're the smartest daughter anyone can ask for".
"Mom, dad. Today's my first day of school I'm ready to go." I said. But they never turned to look at me. They kept their focus all on Olga. Ugh I hate that they won't listen to me. I tried pulling on mom's leg, she wouldn't budge at all. I tapped dads leg to get his attention.
"Move it Helga, Olga is trying to play my favorite song on the piano. That's my Olga, she's the greatest daughter a dad can ever have."
At the time I was old Helga, mean nasty, and I hated how my parents gave more attention to my sister than me.
"Fine I'll walk to school!!" I shouted, once again they did not knowledge my presence. I slammed the door, stumped down my steps, then proceeded my way to school. In the middle of my walk rain began to pours down. Great I don't even have my umbrella. Still walking in the rain a car comes by splashing mud all over my pink jumper, then out of nowhere a dog comes out growling showing his viscous teeth. I began to run way down the street as fast as I can, I trip and fall in a puddle of water. I turn around as the dog approached me slowly as foam formed around the mouth. Oh man this is the end I thought as I covered my eyes with my hands.
Suddenly a boy a few inches taller than me,with a football shaped head, and crazy blond hair.
"Move go way! Stupid dog." The dog looked surprised, and frighten as it ran away. I stood up just staring at the kids strange head. He opened up his umbrella, hung it over my head.
"Are you okay Miss." He asked politely. I didn't say anything at first I just stared at his football shaped head.
"I'm really wet and covered in mud. I don't feel okay!" I said as tears fell from my eyes.
"Oh I'm sorry. Please don't cry." He pulled out a little towel and tried to wipe the mud off of my jumper.
"Come with me, my grandpa is at the nearby cafe." He took my hand, then ran all the way to the cafe named "Cafe Mammas". As we stepped in, it gave a really nice warm cozy feeling. The smell of chocolate filled the air. He takes me to a bean bag area, seeing his grandfather reading the paper.
"I'm Arnold. What's you're name?" He asked as he pulled out a bag of chocolate covered gummy bears.
"My name is Helga. And are those chocolate covered gummy bears?" I said eyeing the gummy bears.
"Yes would you like some?"
"Yes!" I smiled as I took a funny bear in to my mouth. These are delicious.
"Haahaa. You have a cute smile Helga. I like you bettervwhen you smile." I didn't expect him to say that, I felt my stomach flutter.
"Thank you..... I like you're football head."
A smiled spread across his face. I have never seen such a beautiful smile in my life time.

FLASH BACK ENDS

Arnold bought the gummy bears then headed over towards the table where Gerald and Phoebs were.
"Arnold I can't believe you remember how we met. That was years ago." I said as I popped a gummy bear in my mouth.
"Of course, I remembered the cafe we went to, I remembered how you cried after that dog almost got to you. Thank god I got there in time. I was really glad that you smiled. You really do look better when you are smiling."
"Ahaha stop you're making me blush" I said playfully hitting his arms
"Hey. I speak the truth." He smiled
