(Arnold POV)
I wanted to talk to Helga, about what was going on. I don't know why, but I worry for her. For three years she hasn't said a word to me, or anyone for that matter. I don't know why it's bothering me? I just want to know if she's okay. After the bell rang, she's out the door first, I gather my belongings, then head straight to her. Luckily I spotted her by her locker.
"Hey, Helga." I said. She turned to my direction, and her face went to complete shock. Next thing I knew she's sprinting towards the door. I run after her, reached out caught her arm. She faces me, and all I notice are her beautiful blue eyes. I never knew her eyes were the color of the ocean. The most peaceful blue I've ever seen. But her facial expression said otherwise. She look, sad, nervous, almost pale too.
"Helga, are you okay?" I asked.
She didn't say anything at first, but I felt my heart beat super fast when she looked away from me. Her eyes moved from me to my hand. Oh she must be uncomfortable. I let go of her hand.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." Now I feel bad I did want to force it like this. I brush through my hair, embarrassed to what I just did. Until she broke the silents.
"No Arnold, it's okay. I have to go, I'm sorry." She said. Then once again she ran to the door without hearing what I had to say. "Great job Arnold, now she probably won't say one thing to me after that." I said to myself. At least she didn't call me a name or anything, well that's what she use to do. I kind of miss those times to be honest, the moments we had, I was so use to. It's not the same anymore. Is that a good thing? I wonder. Suddenly I felt my phone buzz in my jeans, it was a text from Gerald asking where I was. Oh man I for I had a meeting with the coach. I head towards the boy's locker as fast as I could.
The meeting just ended but my mind still kept thinking about Helga.
"Yo Arnold, you okay, you were spacing out man." Gerald asked, "I don't know man. My mind has been thinking about Helga. For three years she doesn't say much anymore. She's not even bullying me anymore. I don't get it what made her stop buying me for three years?" I asked confused.
"I've notice that too. I kinda thought you would be happy about that. You have Lila as you're girlfriend, you're captain of the football team, life's going better for you Arnold. Why would you be thinking about the past of Helga bullying you all the time?"
That's a question, I can't explain for myself.
"I wish I knew Gerald. Something about it bothers me, I just can't figure it out." I said. Wait wasn't I suppose to do something today. Just like that I phone buzzed, I looked and see Lila name across my screen.
"Shot!! Gerald I'll talk to you later, I gotta go." I ran out the locker but still can hear Gerald commented.
"Get it Arnold!" Haa that's Gerald for ya. I got into my car and answer my cell.
"Arnold, what's taking you so long?!? You said you're meeting was going to take so long!" She nagged on. "Look I'm sorry, I just had a lot on my mind. I'll be at your house in 5 minutes."
"Fine, I'll see you here." She hung up , sometimes that girl can nag until you drop dead. I stared my car, driving all the way to Lila house. I arrive there see her laying on the couch. I notice her hair looked a bit messy. I didn't mind it. "Hey you hungry, we can order some pizza." I turned to find her close to my face. She warped her arms around me. "Took you long enough." She smirked, then placed her strawberry lips on my lips. I kissed her back, she pulls me closer to her body to deepen the kiss. I pick her up, and sit her on my lap. Her lips move to my neck, tension starts to build a little. My eyes close as she continues to kiss my neck. I pulled her in more, but Helga's face appears into my mind. "L-Lila we can't do this." I said out of breath.
"Fine just order the damn pizza." What the heck is up with her. She got off my lap, then turned to the T.V.
