The Prince

I looked up and saw a tall, cute gem looking at me. His hair was navy blue and his skin was slate blue. He wore a blue suit with a silver tie. I could also see his dagger resting in his holster pocket. "Oh ah, it's okay." I stammered. "Oh my stars! Purple! Are you okay?! I'm so sorry!" Pink said as she tackled me into a hug. "It's okay. It was a accident." Pink looked at the gem standing near me. "Oh I know who you are!" Pink said. The boy laughed "You've heard of me have you?" he said and smiled. "Yes, your Earl Kyane and Lady Kaynet's son. Although I can't quite remember your name." "Prince Kyanite. And I know who you are." he said, taking my hand and smiling. "Your Purple Diamond. I knew you would be beautiful, but I had no idea a gem could be so radiant." Kyanite kissed my hand.

That comment made me blush. Something was happening to me. I started to fell dizzy and I could barely catch my breath. "Uhm, thank you so much. Your so kind." I said, softly. He smiled and blushed. Pink looked and me and said "I'll be right back. I'm going to get us a drink." and hurried away. We stood around and didn't say anything for a few minutes. "Would you like to sit outside?" I asked, expecting him to say no. But instead he smiled and said "I would love to." 

We walked out of the ballroom and into the garden. We sat down on a bench and looked at each other. "The stars a so beautiful tonight." he said. I nodded in agreement. I heard him whisper underneath his breath. "But they aren't as beautiful as you." I smiled and whispered "I heard that Kyanite." His face turned pink and he looked at me. Giggling, I said "I think your handsome." I could feel my cheeks turning bright purple and grow warmer. He moved over a little closer and said "So Purple," he started. I put a finger over his mouth. "You can call me Purla." and moved my finger back. He smiled and said "You can call me Kyne."
