Mirage

Name: Mirage

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Race:  Rainwing/Sandwing Hybrid.

Physical Quirks: Despite only being half Rainwing, her scales can blur her slightly into her surroundings. This being said, she cannot change her scales into any shade of green. Only specific scales on her body have the ability to change into unnatural colors. The image above is her at her most colorful. Only the patches of red-orange on her body change with her mood, getting darker the more mad or serious she is and less vibrant the sadder she is. It never changes form orange with her mood though. Her tail has no poison though fully resembles that of a pure Sandwings in all but color. She is not able to shoot her venom but when she bites into something it automatically injects the poison, she has no control over this and is immune to her own venom. It's not as potent as Sandwing poison and carries more properties of a snake bite rather then a Rainwing's venom. The potency of her venom is related to how much brightsting cactus she consumes. This cactus cures Sandwing venom and cures her's as well. Consequently she is greatly less effected by general Sandwing venom. This might be due to her venom's similarities with Sandwing venom or the sheer amount of Brightsting cactus she consumes. She CANNOT breath fire.

Other: This OC doesn't really have a head-cannon presence in the Wings Of Fire world for me, I just created her to be my ideal self-insert character. This means I also didn't flesh out her backstory or presence in the world. So... ya.

Fun Fact: She is a pretty neutral character, and wouldn't get involved if it didn't have a significant impact in her or her friend's lives. She loves sunbathing to an extreme and prefers to cook her meat before eating, but since she can't blow fire, usually just sticks to fruit. Also, she detests bananas. ;)
