Chapter 5

-Wonyoung's pov-

"I know what I want, Pd-nim."

"What are you talking about?"

I know I'll take a big gamble out of this, but I'll show her. I'll show her that the consequences are worth it.

"I'll do a solo activity, on one condition."

He raises his eyebrow at me clearly confuse, boy is he gonna be shock.

"What kind of condition?"

"I choose the activities, no bossing me around."

He sighs. Guess that's easier to take than him snapping.

"Sure, I'll let you choose the activities, as long as your active in the industry again."

I smiled at the thought, he can't back away now.

"I wanna audition for a drama."

"Okay fair enough I guess-

"A lesbian drama."

His eyes widened in shock, lol what did I tell you.

"Are you insane? Do you know how homophobic the people in this country can be?"

"I know, and I want people to know I am a one."

He's glaring at me now.

"This can ruin your career, are you even thinking straight?"

I chuckle.

"I know, and I am not straight, I just want to remind you that."

"You have to allow me, like it or not. I am a big name in this industry now, you lose me. Then it's your lost and my gain."

I pulled out the big guns, I don't care if I sound arrogant. I want things my way.

He sighs, guess I win.

"Fine, you do you. But don't regret your actions once this goes public."

I smiled.

"Don't worry I haven't gotten a role yet, I'm sure I'll handle things very well. You don't have to worry about it Pd-nim."

He sits back down, I didn't even realize he was standing. Guess I'm just too tall.

"Have you told Yujin about this plan of yours?"

I just smiled at him. I wasn't planning on telling her as she'll just nag at me.

"I don't have to tell her everything I plan, this is what I want, I want people to know I like girls. Even if it costs me my career."

"You're insane."

"You're right about that, but it's because of someone."

He sighs, guess I was too cheesy there.

"Also, you know damn well that you have to pay me back with the damage you caused to my relationship."

He looks down, he knows I can't forget that very easily.

"I know, you really won't let me live through it. But to show you how sorry I am, I'll help you get some roles."

My job is done, so I started walking away from his office.

"I'm sorry."

I stopped and turned around glaring at him.

"Don't ever do that again."

A few days later.

Medias already snooping around Wonyoung's choices as it was just announced that she would be joining a cast of a drama that many people did not expect.

"Jang Wonyoung reportedly starring as the female lead in an LGTBQ Korean drama."

The news spread like wildfire and Wonyoung didn't care, she confirmed it and chaos arise.

The news article was quoting what she said to the reporters.

"I am gay and have been for years, I wanna try acting in my comfort zone."

Many netizens reacts and a lot of it are negative but there is always the positive side of it. She receives hateful words and fortunately never got worse than that. Because the worse thing that can happen, is her getting boycott for being gay.

Wonyoung is just lying down on the couch, it's been hours since she took a break from social media and it's killing her cause she wants to know what in the world is going on.

She's just holding the script while lying down, she'll meet her co star soon, at least that is what the Director told her.

"Changing hearts."

Wonyoung mumbled as she starts reading the role she got.

She's playing a young lesbian obviously, really private about her sexuality as she's just starting to go to adulthood, her name is Victoria Kim.

Finds an interest to a woman she met who's a decade older than her. A finance manager who goes by the name of Lily Jang.

they met as Victoria needs a loan to pay out her house down payment. 

Sound okay enough as it has many drama like how Wonyoung's life is right now. She's surprise she even passed the audition in the first place.

Wonyoung sighs and quickly follows up with.

"I hope the partner I'm getting is at least not afraid to kiss a girl."

A knock interrupted Wonyoung's alone time and when she opens up it's the sight of an angry Yuri.

"Are you crazy?!?"

Wonyoung just stared down at her unnie, letting her do her tantrum.

"You're flipping a coin, Wonyoung! Do you know how much you'll lose if it went the wrong way?!?! Damn it! Why can't you just play it safe?!?"

Yuri was right though, Wonyoung was flipping a coin, at this point the members think that the maknae has lost her mind.

"Wake up Wonyoung! You're doing this for a girl you're not even with! You're risking your life just because of a girl!"

Wonyoung threw the script which nearly hit Yuri.

"She's not just some girl unnie! She's the love of my life!"

Wonyoung just starts crying.

"You won't understand, you were not left behind by someone you love, you were not destroyed just because a risk would be too dangerous."

Wonyoung sits down wipes her tears.

"Is it bad that I want that back? Is it bad to fight for the person you love? Is it bad to take a risk for love? I felt like this is the only thing I can do to show her it's not that big of a deal. I'll even plan to tell the media that I was in a relationship with Minju unnie."

Yuri widened her eyes at Wonyoung's idea, she really has gone mad.

"Wonyoung listen to yourself! You're not just risking your career, but you'll drag Minju down with you! Are you gonna be that selfish? You're not trying to get her back, you're plotting a vengeance!"

Wonyoung looks at Yuri in the eyes.

"We don't even know if that's the case yet unnie."

Wonyoung sighs.

"But I guess we'll see if I'll be the bad guy or not."

Wonyoung walks over her front door and opens it.

"You may leave."
