The Commander

Arjun woke up somewhat disoriented, his mind came to consiousness and by habbit it started reaching out to all his senses first, before opening his eyes ,( A classic Rudra training ) ,he felt the temperature shooting and optimum like his own tent the smell carried a aroma of nature and water close by , his skin felt to be in some short of bed then he heard the sound of  nature's voices and some movement near him , which means he is not alone , he slowly opened his eyes and saw the floor of his tent , He understood where is he , and he tried to move and then came the pain rushing to him from his neck down to end of his Spinal chord like his skin is paper and might give away like charred document in seconds .

I would suggest you don't try to move , Came a girl's voice from his side , He was unable to look at her from the way he was laid on the bed , but he asked " Who are you "?

The girl you stupidly tried to save , Reyna replied .

Ohk , Thanks I guess , Arjun replied sarcastically

Actually Thanks , You did save my life, because the looks of your crisped back,
I would had that on my face otherwise , Reyna said

Will you help me to sit up, Talking like this feels odd , Arjun Asked

Reyna stood up from the stool she was sitting on and put a hand on Arjun's hand and slowly tried to pull him back from his position with Arjun giving his own force to change his position and slowly he sat up , Cautiously not resting his back on any surface and faced towards Reyna .

How long was I out ? Arjun asked

Reyna didn't hear his question , she was focused in his half naked body the dorsal part where the skin was intact looking like a Greek Gods ripped body , she was unconcious ly staring at it ,oblivious to his question .

Girl ? Arjun asked looking at her

Reyna stirred to the reality ,Ah.... Ya Reyna it's Reyan not Girl. Reyna replied

Ohk ,Reyna ,How long was I out ? Arjun asked

Two days , You fell on me with the force of the blast as soon  the air cleared I found you unconcious on me , we tried to wake you up but nothing happened , till then the medics came looked at your body it was smoking , we thought of giving you ambrosia and nectar but we don't know whether you are a demigod or not so it might have killed you so we settled for classic medicine and pastes but not much improved and now luckily you are awake .Reyna replied

Ambrosia ? Nectar ?  , what !, Arjun asked in confusion .

Well it's known as the drink of God's , it has healing properties and it heals us demigods quickly but we can only take a little amount a time on mortals it might just kill them .Reyna replied

Thanks ,for not giving that to me , My parents weren't any God's, They were  plain Mortals , devotees of Lord Mahadeva, But I know what can heal me but I might need help , Arjun said looking at Reyna who was taking in the just given information.

What ? She asked

Only then  there was a Tap on the flap and Thalia waked in , she looked at the half naked boy sitting on his bed and Reyna sitting on a stool infront of it .

Stared at the Boy 's Bare chest for seconds until Reyna snapped her attention back ,.

Thalia ? She asked

Yes,....Ahhh good you are awake , how you feeling ? She asked

Ohk ,it's hurts but I know how to heal , Arjun replied

How ? Our best medics were unable ,Thalia responded

Because they don't inow what they are dealing , I know , Arjun replied

How ? Reyna again asked

See there is silver box under that Table , bring that please , Arjun asked politely

Reyna got up ,looked at the box , it had a strange symbol on it like a bowl in which leaves were grinned with some short of hand grinder . , She picked it up and bought back to Arjun.

Arjun opened it ,inside were several leaves of Indian Bael and a ash colur paste , with bandaid and other instruments,

What's that ? Thali asked

It Bael leaves very auspicious to out lord and this is Bhi bhuti paste mixed with many more things , I don't know the exact contents ,tough .

What will it do ? Thalia asked

Will you help I can't reach back there , You just have to apply this paste on the leaves and then put this leaves on my back for few hours covering all the damaged  , I will be good as new then , Arjun replied with a smile .

Ohhkkkk,.....Thalia said , as she was skecptical about the process but Reyna didn't mind she picked up a leaves and started applying the paste on one its side uniformly .

Thalia meanwhile looked around the tent and noticed a rather strange stand of wood with multiple hands coming out on which strange circlet of seeds were hanging equidistant from each other ,.

What's that ? Thalia asked  pointing at the stand .

Arjun looked at what she was pointing and his face fell ,...He took a deep breath and Replied , Memory , the Stand of fallen., He replied

Stand of fallen ? Reyna asked while applying the first leave on his back ,...

Arjun pointed at his neck were he wore a circlet like that and then said , 'the fallen ones '

Thalia looked at him, his circlet and then at the stand and put two plus two ,. Then the thing hit her

Your people ? She asked her Eyes wide

Arjun nodded , My Soilders , friends and commrades ,....He replied

But there are like hundreds here ? Thalia asked

Yes , I am a commander without a army to command , those were the heroic boys and girls who fell while fighting under my command , Arjun replied his face sad

You are a commander , like of an Army ? Reyna asked while applying another leave .

Yes , Me and my people were allocated here in this Cross fades to burn down the Hybrid factory which was supplying enemy Soilders to the Asura kings ,.

Our objective was to destroy the facility and not less any more troops can cross to aid the Maha yudh going on the main land.

Maha yudh ? Hybrids ? Thalia asked

Maha Yudh means the Great war , a war like we haven't seen for thousands of year.

So there is a war going on your land ? Reyna asked

Yes ,but not like those gun wars , it's a war battles at a different level ,..... Most humans won't know that it's going on because they will be simply unaware of their consiousness . But yes a war is going on .

Like the battle of Manhattan ? Where the mortals were asleep and they didn't knew we fought the battle with the Titans , Thalia said looking at Reyna who nodded.

And what are this Hybrids ? Reyna asked

This actually humans but they are taken and isolated from the human world from childhood and transported to this facilities were they are trained like Asuras and like us they gain powers and believe that they are the Asuras ar Danav them self and aid the Asura lords .Arjun replied.

So you were here to stop them,.... Reyna asked

Yes and I lost most of my people in the first battle where we were ill informed the remaining just thought we will hold this lines until the battle in mainland in over but soon we were outnumbered  by constant attacks and what remain was just me. So I still can only savage their troops movement , and slow or delay them from last few months ,Arjun replied

You are holding against an army alone in these forest for months ? Reyna asked while applying the last leave .

I have to , That's my Dharam .He replied and with that , He closed his eyes , and said " Thankyou commanders ,Now I have to start the healing process " he said with a smile and soon started chanting a mantra repeatedly , while Reyna and Thalia looked at the Stand of fallen and slowly walked out of the tent .
