The BURU

When all of them rushed out they saw the right side of their camp in fire ,ablaze  while other hunters are frantically shotting something in those fires ,while a  scream again  echoed horibly through the woods ,...

What's going on? Reyna asked as one of the hunter rushed towards her
The creature my lady , we were patroling when suddenly it attacked it has Arina with him in those fire , before we could signal or do anything it attacked her with speed of thunder and dragged her inside the tent were somehow the whole place caught fire ,before we could help her the ablaze made us run away . We cannot se anything there my lady ,.....

Artimis clenched her fist and with Thalia and Reyna ran towards the fire ,Arjun not knowing what going on didn't followed them, He quietly went back and approached the fire place from backside from the jungle , he climbed a tree and jumped from one to other with precise timing and soon reached the  camp site on fire he was on a high tree so he can see what was happening ,...

Artimis with her two commanders had already reached the spot , Artimis without any second thought went through the fire and it didn't hurt her at all she took out her knife and a sword and stood infront of the center where the fire was burning blue , she saw the creature for the first time it was as half the size of Python whom her brother defeated for the Oracle of Delphi , it had a lizard like face with four limbs sprouting out , two infront and two back each limb contained five fingers each with a talons as long as her own knife ,The creature had pointed scales running from his nose to his tail and his ear has some kind of large membraneous flaps which spread in both side like wings , the creature eyes were total green.

Arjun also saw the creature and instantly identified it , he and his friends had to fight two of those in one mission he had lost two of his friends to it last time, He thought of attacking ,but then he saw a limp body was in between the creature four limbs under his body , the girl hands twitched and he realised she was alive ,

But Artimis ,nor Reyna or Thalia were able to see the Girl as she was covered behind the wing like flaps from the front. Artimis jumped on the creature with a scream bringing her long sword down ,when the creature blowed white hot fire from his mouth towards her ,Artimis tried to block it with her hands , but the force was like Zeus master bolt itself ,she was thrown back towards a tree and landed breking the tree from half ,

Thalia and Reyna charged from both direction tring to impale  the wings but the creature was not foolish , it jerked  its large tale in a Zig zag motion in a speed of light and it hit Reyna and Thalia one by one sending them back towards the forest.

Arjun saw all this and knew their strategy will not work a Buru is a mythical creature blessed by Nag raj Vasuki himself  , they can only be killed by his own fire , when it accidently falls on itself . otherwise it will stay ineffected .

Meanwhile , Artimis Stood up again and started circling the creature looking for a weak spot , when her eyes fell on her hunter , She stepped back now making plans to save the girl and kill the creature when Arjun dropped beside her from the tree.

Godess , He said.
Artimis looked at him , with wide eyes
You cannot kill it , It's a Buru they are immune to most of the magical spells and their skin in practically imprenatable , but we can save your girl we will need a distraction.

Artimis nodded , and signalled Thalia and Reyna who were again in fighting position to follow her lead , They nodded

Artimis lunged at the animal from left while Thalia and Reyna from the right the Buru again tried to throw them from mid air with his tail but this time Artimis caught the tail and she swung the creature with all her power away from the spot the creature fell outside the fire camp and snarled in frustration .

It quickly recovered and thunder bolted towards Thalia who landed towards its left ,Thalia realising the attack summoned a bolt in the creature the bolt caused momentary blindness to all of them, While Artimis , Thalia and Reyna dealt with the Buru just outside the fire camp , Arjun took out a long shawl from his pounch at his belt and wrapped him around himself and jumped inside the fire , the fire causing instant blister and pain where it even touched a inch if his skin , he them wrapped himself and the girl in the cloth tightly and jumped out of the fire , and ran towards the other girls who were still shooting arrows now at the exposed creature ,

Some girl ran towards him,and took thier comrade from his arms and rushed towards the main camp site for treatment .

Arjun turned and saw a lightning bolt strike the creature and an aura of blue energy pulsating around Thalia , His eyes widened but he knew anything will be unsuccessful he then ran towards them.

Soon the smoke from the bolt dissapeared , Thalia waited to see the roasted creature but isntead it was standing there fully covered in its flaps like wings from which now light smoke was rising , it peeped out of its hide and with lighting speed charged at Thalia who was still shocked how her bolt didn't even effected the creature was caught off balance and the creature , injected his sharp rajor teeth at Thalia 's Torso ,before she could even raise her sword , pain like acid burning through her inside shot up in her body , she still tried to hit the creature with her blade but it bounced back ineffective . Artimis seeing this jumped on the creature ' s back and blasted it with pure godly energy which should have disintegrated but it just took his focus from Thalia to his back  he trashed its neck one side and threw Thalia on the other , She groaned in pain as she landed with a Thud and her Torso bleeding and burning at the same time she was unable to move and immobalized due to pain , the only thing she wasn't dead because a hunter cannot die while hunting and  it counted one such .

Arjun reached the clearing , saw Artimis Bull riding the creature ,where it tried to shake her off and she just kept it blasting with pure godly energy which was taking a toll on her as her form was staring to flicker around her .

He reached beside Reyna who stood their trying to find a angle to attack ,

Its ears target at its ears , Arjun said reaching beside her ,..

She looked at him , Questioningly

Just do it , I know , He replied

She took her bow out and pulled a arrow and launche it towards the small hole beside the Buru ' s head , the  arrow went past his flaps and penetrated the Buru in his ears , the creature made a horrifying sound which vibrated through the forest , it was bleeding from the wound and jerked so hard that Artimis lossed her control and fell from his back .

It looked muderously at Reyna and threw a White hot flame towards her , Arjun instinctively who was still covered in showl , jumped in between the Reyna and the flame and was hit by the flame at his back , it was so hot that the pain numbbed his mind and he only realised he fell over Reyna and then everything went black.
