To Earn Trust .

Everybody was shocked when the lights vanished and some even paled. even Artimis was shocked she crouched forward in her seat to see it,  she has seen Gods changing form on regular basis and even some very powerful demigods over the history but what amused her was that , whenever a God or a demigod change form it's just the physical appearance that changed , but what she was looking at it was much more it was like a whole new person with no trace of the former . Its like the light swapped them in their position .
Her chain of thoughts were broken when the girl infront of spoke ,

"I Arania  , Rudra Sainik,  wants to join the hunt of Buru with lady Artimis ".

Artimis was unable to speak , or think what to answer , when Thalia spoke

"How? You ? Boy ? ,.........

Arania ,chuckled like it was amusing her to see thier expressions, " How I changed , I think I explained that ,but what has changed let me explain it " , I am a very different person from Arjun , He is my brother you can say because we share the same blood and body and even mind, so I have his memories and weapons and skills and so has he when he is in his from" I am the manifestation of the feminine form of him and he is the manisfestion of the masuline form of mine "

So you are a girl, like girl girl! Reyna asked still amazed .

Well yaa! I don't have and extra musscle in between my legs , and two big ones on my chest , so duh! . Arania answered

You don't talk like him , Thalia pointed .

Ohhh! That's because I am not him , That iddiot rarely lets me out , because I don't follow rules like him, I am a feminine force , I am flexible as it's nature ,I am not bounded by the system he likes to follow ! Arania answered .

" So is there any more questions, I think I can join the hunt for buru , I have fought it earlier also , Arjun only had my memory of the fight , it's years ago. I remmeber it very well because that beast killed the boy I liked " she sneered .

Boy ? Thalia asked again.

"Well , it was good time , three decades Arjun let me out , and yes boy , because I am staright and I am a girl, my brother is a straight also , but he is single for a long time ".

So you are totaly different ? Reyna asked not able to compartmentalize the scene infront of her .

Stop! Artimis raised her hand " I believe what she is speaking , she only has memories and skills of the boy warrior but she is a pure female , I can sence that "

"And to answer your question, Arania ,you being a girl can join the hunt for this one hunt , but we have a procedure ,to build trust and to know your skills , you have to duel one of my Hunter , your choice and it's not a duel of death or supremacy ,like those insufferable boys do , its a duel to know your skills and capabilities ".

Hmmmm! Arania pondered , ohk , I will like a duel it been decades I have fought , she turned in the circle looking at hunters to choose her patner , and looked towards Thalia. " I remmeber Arjun dueling you , you are tuff , I would like to duel with you commander.

Very well! Artimis said , Thaila ,you ready

Thalia nodded , and gripped her spear and shield with Medusa 's face.

All other girls cleared the center area forming a loose circle , Thalia and Arania walked into the center .

Arania ,polietly joined her hands and bended forward and little, " it will be a honour to fight your commander " she said .

Thalia , was shocked ,she have dueled before but none she dueled said that , she was used to hear trash talks ! And attempt to play with her emotions , or sarcastic comments , but this, this was odd ,she can reply with a saassy comment all too well but this she didn't knew the answer ,but she aslo bowed a little and replied " my pleasure , Commander " .

At this bothe tensed and stiffed and looked at each other's eyes , Thalia tightly gripped her spear and her shield , but she frowned a little when she saw Arania have no weapons , she was about to question them when the air around Arania's hand shimmered and in a blink or a second , a long Indian sword , with a blue ruby embedded in its hilt and a greyish metal blade , doubled edge with blackish wave pattern materialised in her hands .

There was a gasp , from the crowd as the weapon shimmered to exsistence . ,Even Artimis raised an eyebrow , the weapon looked powerfull but very rare demigods can materialise their weapons like that , and gods that is common for them . But the girl infront of her was none, as per she can say she was a mortal but with a very different aura .

How ? Thalia asked

Ohh! Astra sastra 101 some early lessons, Arania replied , with a smile .

Thalia steadied herself again focusing her eyes on her opponent , and with a flash , Arania charged like a cheetah , Thalia was jut barely able to block her strike , and was likely able to slash the spear at her when like the speed she attacked she bounced back away from the range of her spear .

Thalia slashed at the air , see looked and Arania was infront of her smiling standing far away from the range of her weapon. She was steading herself when again she charged and Thali doged and hit the air this continued for almost few minutes ,when Thalia got a break she was reading her movements and she trew her spear at the point Araina would appear and almost impaled her , but the spear passed Araina just touching her shoulders and blood started dripping from her cut .

Araina looked at Thalia with amusement in her eyes , mean while Thalia summoned her spear back to her hand and Arian again jumped at her , Thalia thought she would do the same trick again and readied her shield and the force of Araina's sword struck her shield , she was about to predict the point where Ariana would sprint back when a sudden pain in her left thigh almost made her legs to collapse , she narrowed her eyes and saw a long sharf knife same as that of the sword with a blue gem stone in its hilt was embedded in her thigh deep enough ,
She could swear that it was not there in Ariana' hands when she launched for attack , but it materialised during the attack and impaled her , Arian drew the knife back from her thigh with blood splattering on the action and kicked Thalia in her gut , causing her to double over towards the center .

Thalia' s Thigh was paining like acid pouring in her wound she had lots of battle scars but it dosent mean it makes them any less painful , she looked up and saw Ariana standing with her sword high in a defence position  while her knife was absent and smiling , Thalia' s blood boil in anger and soon the clouds darken and she stood up ,....Her eyes glowing like the Strom clouds while smell of Ozone was increasing in the air , Ariana saw the Daughter of Zeus was now above the ground few inches her legs not touching the ground while her spear was crackling with electricity and and her eyes were deep stormy shade and in the next second a thunder shocked the breath out of Ariana she flew and fell on the ground few feets away while her eyes were total black , when the sparking effect ceased , Thalia saw Ariana laying on the ground with smoke comming out of her body and  a black patch on her neck where the thunder just stroke her .

Artimis was seeing the battle with interest, she was about to call a stop when she saw Ariana ' steer from her position and slowly she stood up, smoke was still comming from her body she stood up with the help of her sword and smiled at Thaila but the smile was cold and menacing .

That's new , Indra weapon , she muttered and smiled looking at Thalia who was still above the ground sparkling with energy looking at her ,

" That's not bad ,commander Ariana said out loud, but you know two can play that game , and then suddenly the Ozone in the atmosphere became thick like stone , Thalia was about to jolt another bolt from the sky when a large block of ice shot towards her from the ground from both her sides impaling her shield and spear from her hand , she looked at Araina she was now standing on a patch of ice which was blue in colour her eyeballs were total blue deep blue, Thalia pulled another bolt towards her but the instant the bolt hit Ariana a short white hot flame short from her position and hit Thaila directly simultaneously the bolt hit Ariana and both the warrior shot away from their position .

Thalia was laying on the ground with her face down unconscious smoking, her clothes on flames but which was steadly ceasing down while Ariana was on her back laying on the ground , "Two bolts a day not a prescribed diet" she thought and went unconscious .
