The day finally dawned.

In the previous two performances, the Tenterhooks had fashioned their costumes out of simple things. For this particular performance, however, they had to shop.

In order to maintain the authenticity, Christopher chose a red tailcoat, black knickerbockers and a top hat. It was nothing close to Hugh 'Mega-Stunner' Jackman, as he called the actor, but he still looked dapper.

"You look so dashing, my darling," said Durrell. "I'm sure you'll rock!"

"Thank you, Grandpa," he said. "Also pray that the haughty cockerel Sumanika stops hankering after me! I only love my Linda!"

Now, Durrell Johnson Jr.'s eyes were like that of an eagle's. Even though he was old, he was very observant. He knew that his grandson's friends were plotting to unite him with his girlfriend, for he was with them in the plan.

The girls were dressed in not-very-flouncy, yet beautiful dresses, and both Nelson and Roshan were wearing tuxedo suits with bow ties.

"Hey mates!" said Christopher, as he barged into the room. "My, all of you look great!"

"But you are the most stunning," said Priya. "You are our 'Greatest Showman' now!"

Soon, they reached the college, and rehearsed again before the final face-off.

Abhishek came to them to encourage them. "I'm sure you'll win. Those bullies look too dreadful anyway."

Christopher thanked him. But none of them, except Priya noticed him pinching Malini playfully at the ear. He clearly liked her.

But she had no time to tease her. The spectators began arriving, and it was time for the event.

Sumanika's group had to perform before them, and this time, they had probably not the worst costumes, but the worst song; 'Paagal' by Badshah.

"Eek! That is such a misogynistic song!" said Nelson. "How can they even dance to it?"

"What does 'paagal' mean?" asked Christopher. "And I think this song is quite catchy. Why is it misogynistic?"

"Because, Chris, the whole song is Badshah objectifying the woman and saying that she's mad!" replied Priya. "That man's songs are always misogynistic."

The Suave Charmers finished 'performing', and the audience's applause seemed to be forced.

Our heroes walked up to the stage with swag in their walk and energy in their eyes.
