Tewksbury Pov

I sent Enola a letter telling her to meet me at the river near her apartment tomorrow. I'm so excited to see my Enola, it's been too long since I last saw her. I was debating on telling my mother about the letter but I decided not to...in case she told me not to go.

I needed to see Enola, I needed to see her face her beautiful, amazing, perfect- Oh my what am I saying we are just best friends. I just really miss her, that is all. after I had sent the letter it was time for dinner so I got ready. The meal was quite delicious and my mother kept asking me the usual questions, like... how was my piano going? "good" I responded coldly.

After dinner I got ready for bed and I could not sleep, I kept twisting and turning in my sleep. I was so excited for tomorrow. It was 12:00 AM and I had still not fallen asleep. I went downstairs to get a warm glass of milk. Then I had the perfect idea. After I meet Enola at the lake I will take her to a secret spot. I quietly went to get my coat and my shoes and I sneaked out to go build an area to take Enola tomorrow. I had finished building at around 4:30 AM I sneaked back into my window and I got around 3-4 hours of sleep.   

Enola's Pov

I wake up with a giant grin on my face. I can't wait to see Tewks today. I can't wait to see his perfect jawline, perfect lips his perf- what are you saying, Enola. I can't wait to see him all of those feelings are just going to come back of l- of friendship. I go to take a shower and come out of the shower still smiling I start dancing around in my towel and I almost slip and I laugh at myself. I try to find the best dress I have looking in my closet and then "this is perfect" I said

I tied my hair into a bun and put on a little bit of makeup only a little bit. Beside, it was for me and not for him, ok little bit for him- Oh my god Enola was are you saying. I walk out the door around 3:30, I still have 30 minutes so i go to the flower shop and buy him some flowers because who cared about gender norms.

I bought him a pink rose, it was quite beautiful, I am so excited to give it to him. at last it was 4:00 and i had been waiting at the river for 15 minutes reading a news paper. Then I hear someone whisper in my ear "Long time no see Nols" "TEWKSBURY" I squeal in excitement. I jump up and hug him, we hold each other for a minute or two which felt like an eternity but I felt safe like nothing could ever happen to me. after we finish hugging I give him the flowers and he says "wow nols I thought the men are the one who him the women flowers" he said teasing "I'm enola holmes and you know who i am" I say with a flirty voice.

He looks shocked by my tone of voice and soon I realize what I just did and i laughed it off like it was a joke (only it really wasn't) and he says "to bad Enola holmes because I also got you flowers" and he hands them to me. I start blushing and I realize it's the same flower I picked out for him. "seems that we have similar flower" he says "well who else would I learn about flowers from nincompoop" I said jokingly then he chuckled.

We look into each other's eyes, I soon realize what is going on "tag your it" I say in a whiny voice. "Oh your going to get it" he say in a really cute way- Enola stop it. He chases me for a good 4 minutes, then he finally tags me back. I start chasing him, he is so fast, i feel like my legs are going to fall right off. While he is running he looked behind him and "WATCHOUT" I said "AHHHH" he said with his sexy, adorable- oh my god why do I keep thinking these things.

While he is falling into the river he grabs my arm and yanks me "NOOOOO" I yell. "great" I say sarcastically. He starts to laugh at me because im all wet "hey it's not funny" I say in a whiny voice. "aww did someone get a little wet boo hoo" he says, making fun of me. I splash some water in his eyes "you shouldn't of done that" he says in a charming voice. He starts rapidly throwing water at me "TEWKS STOPP" I say starting to splash back. "what's the matter Nols he says" yelling at the top of his lounges because the water was so loud.

Then I got some in my nose and I started coughing "stop Tewksbury seriously I got some in my nose" I say whole coughing and he stops and rushes over to me and he says "are you okay Nols?" Still coughing I say "yeah i'm ok" he hugs me tightly and even though we were both soaking wet and cold I felt so warm and cozy in his arms. "come on let's get out here I have got somewhere else to take you." He says. "okay I say w-wait MORE?" I say in a confused voice. He chuckles and says "yes more" with a big grin.

While we are walking in the streets of London both soaking wet he covers my eyes with his hands and I ask"are we there yet?" Like a a little kid says to their parents. "no not yet" he says. We were walking for a couple more minutes when he says "we are hereeee you ready?" he says "yes!" I yell impatiently. "okay 3...2...1 open your eyes" I open my eyes and my jaw drops to the floor. It was absolutely beautiful, he had lit some candles and filled a little section of the woods with fairly lights and had a small picnic blanket with some food. "what do you think?" he says worried after I didn't say anything. "wow" I said "just wow" he says "there is nothing I can say to explain how beautiful this is ,Tewks" I say then I look into his eyes.

"Thank you" I say "anything for you my little directive" Tewksbury says
