It felt wrong as soon as he said it, he only knows what a blessing could feel like becuase Jaskier came into his life. Jaskier is his blessing or by the looks of it, was.Geralt turned around, refusing to look at the result of his actions.He didnt even try to reason with himself in his head, for there was no esxuse to what he just said. Jaskier never got this angry, he never let himself get bothered so why couldnt he do the same. He heard the shaky breath coming from Jaskier, but Jaskier refused to let himself cry. At least, not now. "Right then," Jaskier said patting his thigh, trying to seem as casual as possible. His legs felt numb where they stood, he slowly turned around unsure of what led ahead now that he was truly alone. "I uh, guess I'll see you around" Jaskier mumbled unsurely, "ill hear about your travels from the others, they have more detail anyway" Jaskier said a little louder to make up for how sorrowful he sounded from the first sentence.He couldnt walk away without taking a glance at the stiff, unresponsive body behind him.He really didnt care did he?To think Jaskier actually cared about him enough to stick through every rude comment, and to take care of every bruise and scar on Geralt, to make song's for him.The very songs Geralt never seemed to listen to.The song Geralt didnt seem to like.Jaskier scoffed, The Witcher doesnt have feelings.But humans do Jaskier thought as he bit his lip to keep from crying as he walked down the trail, to think I actually loved him..Little did he know Geralt had to somehow keep himself from crying, he wasnt used to this feeling, but he hated it.He hated how he always pushed Jaskier away, there was no way Jaskier could love a man like him when he is just a Witcher.No one could love someone like him, the way he is now.He hated how he couldnt tell Jaskier the truth. Geralt stayed there for a very long time, letting everything sink in but letting nothing out.Please...destiny favor me, and bring him back.
