Chapter 2[Tomorrow I'll leave]

It's been a month, yet it felt as if a forever had past for both souls.

Not a day went by when Geralt felt a horrible guilt wash over him, did he think he didnt deserve it.

He knew he did, end of story. He didnt want the story to end though, he wanted to continue and have Jaskier in each chapter.

But did Jaskier want him? No, he couldn't. Even if Jaskier still felt any bonds with Geralt, he didnt deserve to have Jaskier so much as sing to him one more time.

Geralt decided to leave, that might help him close off from everything, and stop being hurt by this too. Right? It had to be.

But Jaskier, 

                 no. He couldnt leave without apologizing for then Jaskier might not think Geralt cared.

He never gave him a reason to, did he.

He wants to do everything for Jaskier but feels so vulnerable, he couldnt even see the disrespect he was giving to him.

He sighed as he turned around on Roach, to search for his Bard.

The further in the silent woods, the more he was forced to come  to terms with the fact he was feeling.

He was always told he could feel anything, but his chest felt so  shallow when Jaskier wasnt near, he always felt a tug in his heart when Jaskier would flirt with other girls.

Or at least try to anyways.

Geralt smiled remembering little things about Jaskier, the way he walked when he was singing, how he laughed to immature jokes, the look in his eyes when he is looking at something The Witcher has already seen a million times.

The Witcher could look at the same rare flower a million times but that one time when Jaskier was near, it felt like it was a new discovery.

Why didnt he notice before? Why only now could he notice the little things, and never compliment the big things, like how beautiful his singing was. It was perfect to Geralt, to the point he needed to hear it before sleeping, to be able to sleep!

He wanted Jaskier to know this, he was going to find his Bard and tell him everything he couldnt.
