I was sitting in a dark room with only one window and no door. I was nervously playing with my fingers and I kept humming to myself. I heard the floorboards creak. I turned around so quick that I had whiplash. I squinted my eyes but I couldn't see anything. I looked back down, pulled my knees to chest and started rocking back and forth. I heard someone breathing and footsteps. My hands started to get sweaty and tears started to escape. All of sudden someone grabbed my head back and put a bag over it. I started to kick and punch when the bag tightened around my face and neck. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't feel any air go through me. I tried to scream and struggle when I felt someone get close to my ear.
"I'm here princess and I'm never ever leaving"
I started to cry uncontrollably. I tried screaming but my sounds of help were stopped when I felt the life leave my body. I struggled some more but it was useless. He let the bag go and my head fell back and hit the floor with a thud.
My body lay still in the evil darkness. The sound of footsteps faded till you couldn't hear anything anymore.
I was gone.

I woke up sweating and crying. I looked around the room and I couldn't recognize anything. Where am I? I started to panic when the events from yesterday came flooding back to my mind. I got off the bed and sat down on the floor. I started looking through my duffel bag till I found it. I grabbed it and held it to my chest. I closed my eyes and relaxed a little.
It was my dad's. He gave it to me the day before I left. It was a silver chain with a silver dove attached to it. On the back of the dove it said: 'It is possible to live in peace'. It always calmed me down whenever I had a nightmare or a panic attack. I closed my eyes once more and put the chain on.
I woke up to a horrible nightmare and now I have to go to school, great.
I wish I could stay home for the rest of the year but I can't. After all those months, I can't even miss school anymore. I got up and picked up my suitcase. I got out a pair of my blue ripped skinny jeans and my purple Hollister shirt. I grabbed my towel from my bag and went into my bathroom. After washing my hair and getting all cleaned, I put on my strawberry lotion. Since my hair is naturally wavy, I decided on leaving it down. I changed into my clothes and put on my black vans and my grey hoodie. After a few minutes of going through my duffel bag, I found my box of gauges. I went to my mirror and changed my gauges to my black ones since I was going get lazy to do it later. I grabbed my bag that I left hanging on the side of my bed the night before and went downstairs.
As soon as I got downstairs the smell of bacon and waffles hit my nose. I loved having breakfast in the Johnson household.
"Hey mom" I said as I grabbed a plate of bacon, eggs and two waffles.
"Good morning sweety" my mom said. "Orange or grape?"
"Um grape"
My mom handed me a glass of grape juice when Pierce and Aggy came downstairs arguing.
"Grandma why are you so mad? You're too old to have those anyways!"
"You never know! What if some lucky man wants some of this but when I go look for one there isn't any because you sex crazed whore uses them all!"
